Really good story with good characters. Love the Christian symbolism and I was sad when it was over.

Good story. Enjoyed the audiobook, not very fond of the Old English style speaking of the characters. makes me less likely to get another audiobook from this author. it's like watching a movie. The director having characters speak another language and you have to read subtitles even though the movie says it's in English, very annoying..

Great story

This is a well-written, entertaining and uplifting story. It is particularly motivating for boys, providing them with an accessible hero in Quentin and other models of honorable masculinity in several other main characters.

Good Characters and clear morality.

The author portrayed his morales very clearly and the characters reflected their desires and twisted morality in powerful ways. The story itself was good, but not as good as some of Lawhead’s other titles. The emotion through the first two books was lacking but the third really picked it up.

Zoned out

It was easy for my mind to wander and skip chapters. A lot of fluff to the few points of action.

All time favorite

Great story with deep meaning and challenges! Every time I read or listen to this series I am challenged to be a better person. This version is wonderfully told.
