Most of the book is gold, although it makes some bold claims. I "bought-in" completely until the chapter where it was explicitly suggested that bone broth could cure cancer -- not just prevent it or nourish those suffering from it. I understand that the authors' argument was more nuanced than my statement and that it did make a point to reference several related studies, however it seemed rather biased and I was actually quite insulted by the suggestion, as I'm sure many others who have dealt with cancer in their lives would agree.
That being said, this book was still worth the read and the recipes for interested listeners.
