Damon has become a monster...sort of.

Fearing a more gruesome and horrible death down the mimic’s gullet, Damon offers the food in his pack—sandwiches, cookies, and everything else! Encouraged by the (admittedly forced) generosity, the Mimic fuses with Damon, enhancing his body and transforming him into a half-man half-mimic monstrosity.

Once a poor, down-on-his-luck scout, Damon now has new capabilities far beyond anything anyone on Basania has seen before.

The only problem? His new bodymate’s insatiable hunger for cake...and human flesh.

Pretty good!

I got this book on a whim due to Jeff Hayes Narrating; I am glad I did, this is not some epic, but an adventure and it delivers. It is brutal and funny. Look forward to a new way of adventuring and the second book! Narration was on point and the story had very little lag time in its telling.

like Venom in a LITRPG

Love the story, lots of fun. Great characters. if you like Venom you're going to love this mimic. Supporting characters deserve an arch all their own. excited for the next book can't wait to see where they go next.

Great story with unexpected outcomes

Loved this book! Wasn’t painfully obvious and characters were well developed. Great narrators too! The writer doesn’t bore you with overwhelming amounts of details.

Mimic & Me book 1: Entertaining

I loved this book from the beginning. It looked like a fun listen and it is. I am not a gamer so that part of the book can be confusing but it is a minor part of the book. The characters are interesting and dynamic. It seems like some of the monsters are changing and becoming more human. I look forward to the next book and following Damon on his next journey.
