good book, great author

love the books by this author but wish there was more to the series, can't wait to read his other books to see the crossovers like in apocalypse tamer

an amazing read

amazing story. epic narration. the characters are fun and progress is a fun unexpected way. my only issue is it has editing issues and a few parts are missing. buzz jelly and private molesty were bonkers. to the mooooon

S Level Comedy LitRPG

This series is well known to be in the top teir of LitRPG books and for good reason. The characters are hilarious, the story is brilliant and the narration is beyond most other books i've ever listened to (Truly amazing comedy narration). Highly recomend

It's definitely worth the 1 credit

The book itself is incredibly entertaining with meta jokes here and there. Although the audio could have used some patching up. One chapter was cut off short and sometimes Vainqueur voice effects would be turned off so you get this random voice you've never heard before. Other times you will hear words that the narrator has probably never heard in its original form because he definitely butchers them unless he's doing it on purpose. Personally I don't like stupid arrogant dragons. Arrogant dragons full of themselves sure thats what they're known but stupid ehhhhh. And because of how I feel about that, the twist towards the end in Valhalla made me feel so annoyed the same way Vainqueur feels about lead. Despite those things I would still recommend it for laughs because this is definitely not a book to be taken too seriously.

Intelligent, sarcastic, witty, wonderful banter

Full Review: Containing scenes and dialogue that crash against my brain like torrents of joy and song, this second installment of the Vainqueur series hits hard and fast with a whirlwind of adventures and encounters. Those of a certain age may feel like the creative genius of Douglas Adams has been reincarnated and injected into the veins of Maxime Durand. But instead of spaceships and aliens we are enthralled in tales of gold-seeking dragons and their minions worming their way into and out of treacherous situations both physical and political. Each character is meticulously and expertly voiced by Jack Voraces with the perfect cadence and emotional undertone. Extra points are awarded for making difficult tasks actually sound straining, and for joyous outcomes containing plentiful exhuberance. Honestly, I can't get enough of this story and the magnitude of character development and smart, subtle humor that is presented with each chapter. Grab your towel (and your dice) and take a wild ride on the wings of Vainqueuer. [Disclosure: I received this title for free and listened at 2.1x.]

Interesting twist on LITRPG.

I am enjoying this title and can't wait to finish it! I like how the main character is a dragon and can't wait to see how it ends.
