it makes sense

Pomroy explains how the body and food work in detail so it makes intuitive sense. Thank you for this amazing book.

This works

Super informative. It works but can be hard to maintain. Worth a try. The last thing you will be is hungry!

You lost me at 112lbs.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

People who have (a) never read The Fast Metabolism Diet or The Burn; (b) people who buy into the notion that there is an "ideal" body weight, even if you haven't weighed that amount since adolescence; and (c) people who have the time to cook all of the wonderful meals on the plan.

What didn’t you like about Erin Bennett’s performance?

She's a great narrator. I tried not to take it out on her that she was HP's "voice", but they are HP's words being performed, so had to take a star off for that.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Metabolism Revolution?

I would have scrapped the entire manuscript and premise of the "research". The formulas for finding out your "ideal" weight were way off base for me and most healthy, active people I know. And the testimonials were nowhere near the "ideal" weights calculated before hand, so it was just confusing and disenchanting to say the least.

Any additional comments?

I am a lover of her first two books as they helped me to lose over 40lbs three years ago and keep them off until last year. Instead of reinventing the wheel to lose the 15lbs I regained, no matter what HP says, I am going to go back on the FMD and see how it goes.
