Illiterate Narrator

I'm going to take a stab and say the narrator is illiterate. The way he reads 2 or 3 words and then takes a break coupled with the way he pronounces a few of the more intellectual words certainly indicates illiteracy.

Either that or he learned to read from William Shatner.

I have it on 1.55x speed and it's still agony to listen.

Choose the right voice to read this type of books!

... the narrators voice it’s sooo robotic and throughout the book a more creepier voice pops out of nowhere “Now a 30sec pause”. Why?!?! Scares the sh’t out of me.

The techniques explained will help me to avoid being manipulated in the future. I would recommend this to anyone who is starting out and wanting to learn the basics.

Not bad at all but you have put it at 1.7 to really get the most from it

Good material, Poor quality

This is a very intriguing book and the author answers a lot of questions. However, the reader does it no justice. It sounds robotic, and the quality degraded upon beginning chapter 4. I do NOT recommend the audiobook version.

Why these multiple 30 second pauses?

The book is good, but the reader keeps taking ‘30 second pauses’. I’ve never heard this before. Is it a new thing? Doesn’t he have the technology to pause from his end, and not actually giving and announcing a 30 second pause? I just think there are so many ways to avoid this. It’s just so odd. I think I had to use a credit for this one too. If you’re using a credit, and into this subject, I may have bought another one. Simply Bc I feel like if he needs this pause THAT BAD, push pause on recording, and we would never know he needed it. Am I wrong on this??

Horrible Narration

Good information, but the narration was just awful! It made it difficult to connect.
