Sidequests needed!

There seems to be a main plot and 1 continuous subplot for each book.

The main plot of each book is just a 1 off event to distract from him trying to learn more about his Specialization which carries over from each book.

There really isn't much of a school life for this books as it was for the 1st. it's kind of disappointing 😞 I mean it's taking place in a hormone driven teen filled school and the MC is literally surrounded by nothing but females. He doesn't get 1 male friend among the students or Core. The girls show not an ounce of romantic interest in him and even share his time willingly with each other like there isn't a particular friend he values more than the other which is never the case in friendships.

I really want to see a male friend enter the group, some romance, something... right now the plot points stick out like sore thumbs we need sidequests and interest points.

Fun for the family

I loved this sequel, and appreciate that it’s going to be good for the whole family. Character continues to make believable choices, and get into insuing hijinks! Keep up the great work!

it feels like a Harry Potter book especially the chamber of secrets book both being the the second in the series and both having murders that committed yearlong that's the main protagonist has to uncover the truth of

Great series

I love the characters and storyline of this series it’s been entertaining so far and I have enjoyed everything so far

An awesome adventure!

This is an amazing adventure at the academy that trains the students to do dungeon dives. We follow the main character as he gets stronger as he helps to solve crimes along the way. I recommend this book highly.

Nice listen

I like the book but a little easy to predict sometime and need to continue the next book

Good story but the main character is still being kept in the dark.

I like the overall story, but im starting to see the trend that no one in the MC's circle will ever key him in to what's going on. It seems everytime a main or side quest is completed another character is there to sweep the MC away on another tangent that they will refuse to tell him what's going on until moments before. I know this is a trope to build suspense but when everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is doing it, it feels like the MC really has no autonomy of their own. They are just getting dragged from one place to another to fix an endless cycle of problems. Hoping this trend won't continue in the later books as well.

creative Magic and multiple character type development

This story has developed well, and the characters are likable. The only complaint that I have with it and other stories like it is the perspective that the younger characters are competent and the adults are not. The development of the magic and characters is great, but so many times the adults look like they are making stupid mistakes and are oblivious.
