Rushed and overly dramatic

Listen, I don’t know if it’s a rich person thing or just this timeline but it seemed like it went from 0 to 60 real fast. There was plenty of time in the chapters of the book for the characters to develop gradual feelings for each other. In this timeline it went from obsession to love then stayed in this plateau of swoon for a long time. The language was so flowery with the “my love”s and poetic notions of fate being written in the stars. I found myself rolling my eyes and gagging a little. BUT that’s just me. The spice was SO good though. There were a lot of things that worked so so well and some that seemed a little rusty but holy wow the ENDING!!!! I did NOT see that coming! All said and done I can’t wait for the next one. I’m so curious where this is headed and how the author will extend the storyline for the length of another book. I have a feeling we’re going to see some great things from this author.

Fun & Scorching HOT

Lorcan's Obsession was a really enjoyable audiobook. I enjoyed how Lorcan waited to approach Tristen and then when he did it was like the hunter became the hunted. From there, these two go through so much give and take and it was really fun and scorching hot. I also really enjoyed how they both seem to be used to surface level relationships, but what they got with each other was so much deeper. The fact that they both consulted their friends made me giggle and when they finally quit playing with each other and get to it, they are explosive together.

We know along the way that Tristen is keeping a secret and when it was reveled, I was completely shocked! It was not what I was expecting at all and now I'm waiting to find out what is going to happen.

Michelle Sparks and Brandon Francis did an incredible job on this audiobook. I believe this was my first audiobook with these two together and I was really impressed. Brandon did such a great job voicing Lorcan and whew, it was HOT! Michelle also did a great job bringing through the blase' feisty FMC that is Tristen. This was a very enjoyable listen!

This Will Get You HOT.

Lorcan's Obsession, more like my Obsession. We jump right into this raunchy read with Billionare Lorcan who has been obsessed with Tristan for the past few weeks. Once she meets him, Tristan is feels quite the same. Both struggling with secrets and insecurities, can they make it the long haul or is this just a hot fling. Characters are beautifully developed, even the supporting ones. The plot is good, but honestly I was more focused on the spixe because the SPICE is spicing. I didn't want the story to end. I'm officially hooked, give me book two!

Cliffhanger warning

I didn’t see anything to identify that this ends in a cliffhanger. The performance was great but got bored with the story often and the stalking wasn’t heavy enough my my liking.
