I beg the Kingpin for help…
He demands marriage in return.
Desperate, I ask my boss—the kingpin whose office I clean every morning while he works—to save me from a rival mafia who want money or they’ll reveal all my secrets.
My boss is intimidating. Twice my age, a silver fox in a sharp black suit. But over the last year we’ve talked, the only people in the building as the sun rises, pink over the London skyline.
I’m shocked when he offers me a marriage of convenience.
A whirlwind wedding, and we promise it’s just for show. No feelings. No love. A fake.
If anyone suspects my cover will be blown...
I know this has to be as close to a real marriage as possible. If I can’t have my husband’s love, I will give him my V-card in one night together. And in exchange, I will have a sweet memory afterwards.
His baby.
Kingpin’s Baby is a sweet and spicy age gap instalove romance with a jealous and possessive mafia boss billionaire hero and the girl he’s been stalking.
Duet narrated in swoony British accents by Bastian Allen and Cleo Pope.

He’s ok, not bad but his accent just doesn’t flow well. He’s not written as fiercely as I like them & I hate uncertainty that’s seems forced.
I have no issues with age play, to some degree but this is overplayed. You don’t know his actual age and if he’s actually “twice her age” 44 is hardly ancient. The writer needs to consider this when her audience is likely late 30, 40 & 50 something yr olds. I was left feeling like is this 44 yr old man is gray hairs and squinting at txt on a cell phone, I’m doomed.
Totally took the romance right out of this crap.
Did I say how the female narration was absolute crap. Want to make sure I reiterate that.
Womp, womp…
