I love Convict

I am so thankful that convict got his story because the s*** this poor guy went through in the other books was kind of messed up but the audible for this oh my God convict will make you fall in love and need a cold shower probably before the end of this book so good the storyline fantastic this was definitely book one of The skeleton Crew there's clues in this one and they'll be clues in the second one make sure you pay attention Jolie Vines fantastic author keep them coming

I loved reading this story and listening was even better! disclaimer there is background noise that if you aren't used to that might throw you off a tick. Took me a minute to focus but found I liked the background filler. Made it feel like you were actually experiencing the story.

Loving the lost boy and his little gangster!

I fell in love with Convict when we first see him in Aaron's Obsession. I didnt think I could fall anymore head over heels for him when I read this book the first time, but I was so wrong! listening to this multi cast audio version has brought Convict and Mila to life! I enjoyed every minute of this listening and have already started it over again!!!

Hot audio!!!

I just finished the audiobook version and Holy Hell!!! As a reluctant US citizen, the accents for me were so beautiful. Convict took me a few chapters to get used to and understand, but that’s just my sad sad American ears 😂 his growly voice was so HOT after that. And I just loved Mila’s sweet voice. Made the book even better for me!

(Duet/Multi-cast Narration) I am so glad we are back in Deadwater and with the Skeleton Crew! Convict was introduced in the Body Count series and in the final book we find that he survived a fire and brutal attack. He’s suffering from amnesia and doesn’t remember everything about his past.

I love that these morally gray characters are doing good deeds and bringing down human traffickers. They just use less than legal means to do so. Convict sees our FMC Mila when surveilling a suspected trafficker and is immediately obsessed. Without knowing what Mila was doing there, it was a bit confusing as to what was going on. We do eventually find out, but it takes some time to get all of that information.

As always with these books, the spicy times are hot and plentiful. This book is part of a trilogy so the over arching storyline is not resolved by the end, and it does end on a cliffhanger involving the FMC of the next book. I enjoy Jolie’s writing so much and can’t wait for Kane’s book!
