I don’t know what it is about Cage Rucker that makes my wolf howl. Yeah, he has a body that’s been chiseled from marble, and a smile that melts my heart, but it’s more than that. There’s something about the way he smells. My wolf knows. Does that mean that this boy is going to fall all over himself to find out? No way. Cage has a girlfriend. Such a unique and beautiful story!
I love the fact that Sayah’s story unfolds slowly from going thru such a rough life to a better one with time. But so heartbreaking that after everything she’s has already endured she still has to go through much more pain to get more answers about who she is. Love that her aunts also give her, her own space to explore and learn more about herself as well as the journey they start to unravel. Then her meeting Dom & starting to live again, is just a small little part that starts piece her back together. Then Sebastian entering her dreams & the the way the rest of the story goes on with both of them! Uhhh the suspense, love, anger, grief, unknown powers & journey of what’s to come!!! Can’t wait to listen to the next book & find out what happens next! 🔥🖤💯❤️

Recommended Urban Fantasy
This story is an intriguing urban romantasy with witches, vampires, an grimspawn (demons?), I enjoyed the character development, the story was exciting, and left me wanting more in the end.
As for the narration, it was excellent! It was a dual POV with dual narrators and I loved it. Both the male and female narrators did a fantastic job with all of the accents and pulling me into the story and world. Would definitely recommend the audiobook to fans of urban fantasy.

Perfect duet narration!
A dark witchy read with vampires and secrets. Sayah is a mom who is struggling with the recent deaths of her family and is on a journey as a single mom and survivor. Sayah’s character is very relatable and there is a love interests in the story as well. Dom, the way Dominic’s eye colors constantly changed reminded me of a mood ring.
I really enjoyed the duet narration done by Jacci Prior and Gabriel Michael. It was really outstanding and I truly enjoyed how they breathes life into the characters.
This is perfect for fans who love vampire diaries.

Well this was unexpected…
I had very low expectations for this audio, considering the wishy washy Good Reads reviews and synopsis but dang! This was such a great listen! It’s so refreshing to have a FMC that isn’t a naive 22 year old with no real life experiences. The duet narration really makes the storytelling shift to another level! I can’t wait for the next book!

Ok ok ok. I loved the story. It was rich and beautiful and heartbreaking. If you wanted a more mature vampire diaries, this has some similar vibes! UMMMMM The way I hung on every word this duo spoke is **next level** I neeeeeeeeed more Gabriel & Jacci! They are top tier!! DUET NARRATION.

What an incredible journey!
Wow, wow, wow! What a beautifully written heartfelt book! Inara Gage put her heart and soul into this debut, and it's evident in the way it's written with her unique characters. The world building is fascinating. The MMC is swoonworthy and Sayah, the MFC is vulnerable, fearless, and fiesty. Narrated by Jacci Prior and Gabriel Micheal, this duet audiobook is top of the notch quality listening. I can't recommend it enough!
