This one was dark and wild and I definitely liked the vibes! Loved the darkness and the mystery vibes too! Would definitely recommend this one!

Holy Guacamole!

Just finished The Serpents by Logan Fox and I'm still reeling! 🐍 This mystery had me hooked from the first page. There is so much not known about the school and the town. The slow-burn bully romance was everything I wanted, but I wish we'd gotten a glimpse into Nim's feelings for Mason, Silas, and Knox. 💔 Can't wait to see where this series goes!

Plot is Key

Serpents is yet another romance that focuses too much on the tropes and the spice to sell the book but forgets to pay attention to the plot. Yes, the romance should be the focal point, but the plot should be next in priority as it drives the romance further.

Serpents is the first book in The Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series. Logan Fox is a new author to me. This book was pretty interesting. I am super excited to see where this series will lead. This is a suspenseful, bully, why choose romance.

Chloe Ryan and Benjamin Sands did a great job narrating this book.

Great Start!

Logan Fox is new to me and I enjoyed this first title of the "Serpents of Cinderheart Academy" so much after I finished I was compelled to immediately start book 2. I loved how well Logan fleshed out each character enough to make me want to know more and the mystery surrounding who paid Nim's room and board along with her schooling at the academy and why is definitely keeping me intrigued. There was some tense, sexy moments that involved dubcon that might be triggering for some. Another thing I loved about the 3 MMC's is that it isn't shoved in our faces of what manwh@res they could be. Lots of times many authors have to make sure we read/listen to in great detail of scenes where the guy(s) constantly having sex with other women...not so in this title Mason is described as a manwh@re but we don't see him banginging other chicks, and Knox sounds like he might be a monk since something happened with a woman (I am guessing we will find out more) and Silas charmingly seems to be a demisexual. Onward to book 2!
