This one was dark and wild and I definitely liked the vibes! Loved the darkness and the mystery vibes too! Would definitely recommend this one!

Holy Guacamole!

Just finished The Serpents by Logan Fox and I'm still reeling! 🐍 This mystery had me hooked from the first page. There is so much not known about the school and the town. The slow-burn bully romance was everything I wanted, but I wish we'd gotten a glimpse into Nim's feelings for Mason, Silas, and Knox. 💔 Can't wait to see where this series goes!

Plot is Key

Serpents is yet another romance that focuses too much on the tropes and the spice to sell the book but forgets to pay attention to the plot. Yes, the romance should be the focal point, but the plot should be next in priority as it drives the romance further.

Dark, Intense and Intriguing!

This is the first book in The Serpents of Cinderhall Academy series, a dark why choose bully romance. Nim is strong and determined. The Serpents, Knox, Mason and Silas, are enigmatic and dark. The story is intricate, intense, and captivating, filled with tension, angst, mystery, and twists and turns. The world building is intriguing. The story ends with a cliffhanger. Benjamin Sands and Chloe Ryan did an excellent job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to listening to Savages, the next book in the series. If you like why choose and dark bully romance, this book is for you. #PFPAudio

This was a fun one!

My first Logan Fox read, and what I’ve learned here is that this will not be my last :). I liked the mysterious opening scene, the likable female lead and supporting characters that I either also liked or loved to hate.

What I didn’t love was having to suspend belief for just a bit of it. For example, a school where fellow students can write each other up and order suspensions and other punishments doesn’t seem feasible to me. (If you know of somewhere this is a thing though, enlighten me.

Loved the small town and secret society vibes.

Bully romance...

Serpents is book one of the Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series. This is dark, bully, reverse harem romance that has many triggers. The plot is captivating. You get complex characters, who have depraved urges and extreme bullying. There are many loose ends with this book that ends on a cliffy. Nim, Knox, Mason and Silas' story will keep you hooked from start to finish, what an emotional roller coaster ride for sure.

Chloe Ryan & Benjamin Sands did a great job with this story and these characters.

I Loved Listening To This Book

This book has trigger warning in the beginning of the book and if you are someone who has triggers when listening you will want to heed them. I will also warn you that once you start this dark heart pounding book you will not want to lay it down and I didn't I was so hooked on this story. Oh and did I mention this is a reverse harem book. This is the story of Nim who has never had the best life possible. She has been dealt some crappy cards in life. But one night she accidently turns up in the wrong place at the wrong time and is the witness murder committed by Knox, Mason and Silas. But she has enough sense to get the heck out of there but they all catch her and threaten her. Now she is about to run into them again at the University and she's about to learn just to psychotic these sociopathic guys really are. They hold all the power at the school and all the students their worship them. I have read some books who have some really bad guys in them before but these three really take the cake and I think my heart was in my throat a lot of the time. These two have the torture and humiliate Nim game going on strong and she just might not survive them. You guys this book is dark and gritty and had me on the edge of my seat. I loved every single second of it and couldn't put it down. There are so many secrets yet to come and I can't wait to find out what they are. And I am also a firm believer that Nim is a smarter girl than she lets on she is and I know one day she is going to show those three exactly who she is. I loved how this book was narrated. They bought it to life so well that it played like a movie in my head.

Serpents

Serpents is the first book in The Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series. Logan Fox is a new author to me. This book was pretty interesting. I am super excited to see where this series will lead. This is a suspenseful, bully, why choose romance.

Chloe Ryan and Benjamin Sands did a great job narrating this book.

Great Start!

Logan Fox is new to me and I enjoyed this first title of the "Serpents of Cinderheart Academy" so much after I finished I was compelled to immediately start book 2. I loved how well Logan fleshed out each character enough to make me want to know more and the mystery surrounding who paid Nim's room and board along with her schooling at the academy and why is definitely keeping me intrigued. There was some tense, sexy moments that involved dubcon that might be triggering for some. Another thing I loved about the 3 MMC's is that it isn't shoved in our faces of what manwh@res they could be. Lots of times many authors have to make sure we read/listen to in great detail of scenes where the guy(s) constantly having sex with other women...not so in this title Mason is described as a manwh@re but we don't see him banginging other chicks, and Knox sounds like he might be a monk since something happened with a woman (I am guessing we will find out more) and Silas charmingly seems to be a demisexual. Onward to book 2!

Loved it!

As a huge dark romance fan, I can say I loved everything about this book. Well, except for the fact that it ended in a huge cliffhanger and book 2 isn't out on audio yet. This book is full of danger, mystery, and intrigue. It is dark and addictive and kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Nim is a very likable character who has been through a tragic event. Mason, Knox and Silas are a different story though. We see small glimpses of a tiny bit of good in each of the guys but overall they are anything but good right now. Logan Fox is a new-to-me author but I will definitely be checking out her other books. Chloe Ryan and Benjamin Sands both did a great job bringing this story to life.
