Narration

I love love love the female narrator but the male pov narrator got really difficult to listen to because every sentence ended with an inflection at the end making it sound like just individual questioning sentences and not a stream of consciousness if that makes sense. I had a hard time distinguishing between characters also because of that and towards the end found it grueling to listen to Bastian to the point where I sped up those chapters just to retrieve the information. I loved the way the female narrator voiced Bastian and would have rather heard her do his POV honestly. I probably would have liked the story more if not for that part of the narration.

This was a excellent conclusion to the story and the narrators did fantastic and was well worth the wait

This book had me closing it to recoup and rewinding in disbelief. I will never forgive you Clare but thank you for giving Kat the wild ending she deserves.

Fantastic audio

this my 2nd book I've read or listened audible. Sarah and Liam did an awesome work bring this books alive to me.

Book good narration terrible

Story is great but male narrator is awful. End of every sentence goes up in very irritating way.

Great Story, terrible male narrator

The story was interesting and original. I loved the series. However, the male narrator put a big damper on it. Are we sure that “Liam” isn’t AI? Because he doesn’t talk like an actual human.

Love this series! But sorry, the male narrator….is difficult to listen to.

I love Kat, this story is fantastic. Great world building, intrigue and spicy tension. But, I’m so sorry Liam….I had a hard time listening to the male voice. He had a GREAT voice, but it’s the inflections and odd times, so very distracting. I am pretty sure I will re-read the series and create a new voice for him.

Overall though, I love the strong and witty female characters. Kat’s voice is great, the story is excellent. If you’re a reader, read the series. Don’t Audible it.

absolutely fantastic

I absolutely love this series. Only wish that there was a little bit more to Kat and Bastian story like then visiting her parents and aunt revealing the dreadful news and wrong doings about uncle Rufus and Robin. and them breaking the news that they're gonna have kids too not just Rose and Fwhalen. i really wanted Bastian and Kat to have a couple of kids as well

Love this series, wish it was just one narrator

This is a reread for me. I deeply love this series but I had to come and check the comments to see if it was just me. We’re mostly all on the same page, the male narration is real bad. The intonations were so confusing and it sounds like he’s asking so many questions because almost every phrase or sentence ends on an up? Almost like that scene in Anchor Man, I’m Ron Burgundy? But like every sentence. I ended up switching back and forth between the ebook and the audio bc it got to me. I absolutely love Clare Sager’s works, all of them and I highly recommend her and this series. The female narrator was amazing. I wish she did the whole book 😕 but it does say the same male narrator as the second book and that one was amazing! So idk
