Excellent story telling.

Love this author so much. Love all the books I’ve read so far by this author. The only one left is the Oremere Chronicles.

An amazing tale

This was a wonderful story. It kept me wanting to hear more from beginning to end. I was filled with emotion for the characters on more than one occasion and was sad to see it end. I will miss listening to the characters lives during my daily activities. It was a greatly woven story with fully developed characters and a beautifully descriptive narrative.

storyline

This was such an amazing read that I was not expecting! I got it on the 80% off deal for the whole series and wasn't expecting much but I was thoroughly surprised!

HS story of gold, not great male voices

I love this story, it's unique and intriguing enough to keep you hooked. my only complaint is that some of the male voices are grating on the ears. but I do like this voice actress overall.

These characters are worth every second of the time it takes to invest in discovering who they are

The character development is incredible and fulfilling as the story takes creative and unexpected turns in every direction. I’d say the obstacles encountered were too far-fetched at some point. Not far-fetched as so far the possibility of them happening wasn’t real; I have no problem with full creative license into fantasy. I think the amount of turmoil that one being can take on and survive through is limited, however. Perhaps this can be solved with a little bit more time in between the various existential crisis or different adventures transpire in between the dread… either way I thoroughly enjoyed the entire storyline and look forward to more from this author. I also absolutely treasure the voice characters as well.

At first I wasn’t sure about this book, but I ended up loving it. I found myself frequently reaching for this book. I just loved it

Excellent work!

I enjoyed every chapter of each book., it’s well written each character had their own strengths in the books.

The narrator demonstrated great skill in performing unique and consistent voices for multiple characters.

This would have been a solid PG13 write-up were it not for the single sexual encounter that didn't add anything to the story. Otherwise, it was a decently riveting tale.

Absolutely Breathtaking

I cannot believe I almost skipped this series because it was YA. I already loved Helen’s writing but this book crushed and healed me over and over. Thank you for this gift.

Just as Fabulous 2nd time around

Bought this set during the Audible sale not realizing I bought the series individually already. Oops. But I have no regrets as listening to this again was just as wonderful as it was the first time. Plus, having the novellas at the end is a bonus!
This story arc is rich and brings back all the emotions it did the first time. Even though I knew what would happen, I cried anyway. It was as gut wrenching as it was upon the initial listen. The conclusion was as satisfying as well with all the protags getting what's due. This is definitely one I'll be downloading for future revisits. :)
