Excellent book and narration!

I loved this! While I started getting frustrated by some of the MFC and MMC actions at times, the author didn’t drag them out to the point of being exhausting. Great writing, great main characters.

Overall lacking.

I wanted to love this and wonder if listening to the audiobook was my downfall. The voices felt off and it was more broken by the two male voices as the MMC.

Audio version a little different than book.

This is actually my second review of this. I preventively was a little harsh in my original review before I even finished the book bc the first couple chapters were leaving sentences out but it got a lot better throughout the book. Either that or I just quit noticing it bc the story was actually so good. 😭🥰 I actually ended up adding it to my 6 star reads on Goodreads bc I loved it so much!

Very amazing plot

The build up in this world is unique ! Made me want to keep reading. Fantasy is out of this world. the MMC is amazing !

pet is good BUT.......

it's a cupcake, he's misunderstood an she can save him an she is all rainbows an sunshine. plot is good an there is some triggers but all on the MMC side. REALLY don't know why TikTok was all gushing about this book. gave it 4 st a rs bc of the plot being decent.
