An enemies-to-lovers tale with interesting kinks and twists. Zachary Johnson’s voice was on point, as always.

Drew loathes Olivier. While he’s stuck as a doorman for the rich, Olivier is swanning around town with women, living his useless socialite life of privilege. Meanwhile the life Drew had hoped to live is slowly slipping away.

Olivier is living the dream. He has more women than days of the week, fast cars, all the drûgs he wants and the love of his indulgent parents. Until it all comes crashing down.

Suddenly the two are each others outlet in a world that seems scary and uncertain. Soon things between them go from incredibly heated hate sex to fraught with emotion and a future that is not going the way either want.

Omg this was so good! I didn’t know what to expect but in my humble opinion August gets better and better with every book. I thought the mental health rep was superb as well. The level of angst was perfect too.

Zachary and Ellis are absolutely INCREDIBLE as Drew and Olivier. Superb.

Highly, highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wow I absolutely loved this! Brand new author for me and I was completely pulled into Drew and Olivier's story! It was such a well written book with such well developed characters that I was just drawn into their lives from their first contentious meeting to their passion, love, trauma, and wonderful HEA. The audio was fabulous. Zachary Johnson is always a favorite and he was great as usual. Ellis Evans was a new to me narrator and he is now a new favorite as well. He was perfect for Olivier. Cannot wait to dive into book 2!

This is a new to me author and very glad I found her.
The story was interesting and held my attention all the way through
I loved that it had some unexpected story twist and was not a predictable cliche romance story…. and it mostly definitely had plenty of spice to enjoy as well 🔥🔥🔥
The narrators did an excellent job bringing the story to life
Just ordered book 2 and can’t wait to read it .
Again I say, a great find 🥰

There are very few books I write reviews for anymore, but this one is 🤯 mind blowing. So when you start this book you will feel so much hate and disgust for how the main character’s act towards each other. When you start to see the relationship change, it blossoms into this amazing love and respect for one another that is written so well. I highly recommend this book!

I think I’ve heard all the MM books and I can’t seem to find one I can get into but this one definitely did it. I kept getting goosebumps lol maybe I’m looking for the wrong books. LOVED THIS ONE

how am I just now discovering august jones!!!! this book was everything. I listen to tons of mm romance and this had it all. of course I'm here for the spice and this was 4.5/5! Def worth the credit!
