I loved every unhinged second of this one! A perfect novella to get me in the spooky season spirit! That cliffhanger though.. I really hope we get the next book in audio as well because Corvin King and Daphne Fields crushed it!

Carving for Cara is the perfect mix of Halloween thrills and spicy chills! Rhett, a masked stalker with zero shades of grey, is obsessed with Cara, the smart-mouthed tattoo artist he claims as “his little nightmare.” The tension is so thick, you’ll be sweating by page 30—and by page 88, you’ll be giggling and blushing. Their chase is hotter than pumpkin spice, and trust me, you’ll never look at creamed corn the same again. It’s fast-paced, twisted, and oh-so-entertaining, with Rhett’s possessive streak sending shivers down your spine. The cliffhanger ending will leave you begging for more, because honestly, this spooky novella ruined regular romance for me. If you’re into dark, spicy reads with a side of Halloween madness, this one’s for you. But beware—Rhett’s obsession isn’t for the faint of heart!

The story ticks along, the spice is definitely unhinged but the end is disappointing. Also the phrase “little nightmare” gets annoying after its 100th use! The narrators did a good job.

the trigger warnings speak true!!! perfectly dark escape for those of us who love the chase. performance was perfect! the spice..golly had me blushing. Sets the stage for spooky season , but was just as good in the early summer has me craving cold nights and the leaves changing!!!
