Intriguing plot

The plot had me engaged from the very beginning. This is a very slooooooow burn (I’m talking zero spice), but I really enjoyed the push and pull between the characters. The cliffhanger was very intense. Narrators did a great job but I don’t necessarily think the male narrator was the right choice for these roles. The MMC’s are in their 20’s from the south and his voice definitely doesn’t come close to fitting that bill. Still a very enjoyable listen and I will definitely be continuing on to the next book!

Albany you always draw me in!

This book kept me engaged from the beginning. There was some bully element, but it wasn’t bad as fmc didn’t let them get away with it. Narration was great & I can’t wait for the next book. Only complaint is I wanted more!

Hooked!

have a lot of questions so far. I’m hooked and dying to know what really happened to Nova’s parents. Who can be trusted and who’s the undercover enemy…. And who’s “the lady”.

I love Brooke Faniels work and she didn’t disappoint here!

I’m new to Corvin King and I’m a new fan. His voice perfect for the twins… we’ll all the make characters really.

So far I'm loving the series and I hope book 3 will be out soon because I know there's cliff hangers are in it

I’m interested to see where this goes. I love listening to the back and forth. Nova doesn’t take any crap
