I’m not much into fantasy/paranormal, but I loved this book! I wish it was longer! I am also completely obsessed with Corvin King and he killed in this audio! Definitely one of my favorites so far.

The book is great and enjoyable if you like monster's spicy dark stalker romances. It's narrated in Duet, it's very enjoyable, the author is bringing to us a different history, if you read many books like me you get difficult to impress and keep engaged. The narrators did a great Job. The male narrator did great bringing the MMC to live.

Definitely want the other books in audiobook form. The female narrator became a little bit more whiny in the last few chapters which was throwing me off, but overall still a good performance. Corvin is chef’s kiss.

Entertaining listen with good male and female narration. Decent monster smut scenes. Personally I found the fmc kind of annoying. She cries way too much and seems a bit stupid …. But it doesn’t really ruin anything. Also there are a decent amount of holes in the plot. Like where did he get all his money? A few other plot points get sorta glossed over like poof it’s just is no explanation… again doesn’t ruin the story to much. If you don’t poke holes and just go along and enjoy it for what it is , it’s a decent story to pass some time. If you have an extra credit and nothing better in mind and want a simple sexy monster smut book, then yes I’d say go for it- worth the credit. The smut scenes were at least somewhat unique and a bit lacking on consent..in a good way! HEA ending. Ok standalone but I got the feeling I may have been more invested if I had read her other books.

Fantastic monster romance and amazing duet narration!
This was my first book from this author and it did not disappoint. Check its triggers, but I read a lot in this genre and I loved its unique aspects. I think the narration was so good that the best way to read this book is listening to it.

Wow! What a story! I don’t even know what to say. I didn’t check out the trigger warnings… 😳

Narrating was great, amazing! Corvin King is becoming a favorite narrator.

The story was fast paced, easy to read. Sadly I felt a lot got left out. I would’ve preferred a longer story, maybe a second book to explain more. What happened after their meeting as children? More about his past? Maybe some return of his memories? What did Demi’s friends all think their baby was after she left to go give birth and then nothing? No celebration or announcement of its arrival? Name? Etc. for three months? I just felt there could be more to this.
