Unhinged, dark, shifter/vampire romance story where the FMC is crazier than the MMC. I ate this book up.
The audiobook was absolute perfection for the ears and done in duet narration (my favorite). Please listen to James Cassidy as Kairhyse, you won't regret it. His voice was so good. Savannah displayed the perfect amount of sass and snark as Xeraphine.
I will definitely be listening to the next.

this. audio. was. everything. I didn't think that AYBL could get any better, but Savannah and James have knocked it out of the park. their dynamic was electric and they brought the story to life. you won't be disappointed with this one.

When I saw this book was coming to audio, I did a little happy dance. It was such a great story with amazing characters and narration. The main characters are funny, sarcastic and lovable. Xeraphine is my new favorite FMC. Xeraphine is seeking revenge against the men who hurt her several years ago. While seeking revenge she catches the attention of Hause House and their vampire, Kairhyse. The story that unfolds after is entertaining, suspenseful and leaves you wanting more.

This was my first book with Savannah Thomas as a narrator and I am looking forward to hearing more books narrated by her. James Cassidy was fantastic as always. Highly recommend listening/reading this book. 🥰

Absolutely loved it. The writing is dark but still has great humor. The spicy is spicing 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and there is the perfect about of spice and plot. Can’t wait to read the next book.

I’m not even done I have 4 hrs left and I’m giving it 5 stars on everything. The narration is great I need more dark stuff like this from James Cassidy. Savannah has such a great voice too. Very spicy but plot still interesting. I don’t want it to end. At first I wasn’t sure if this was my type of book but after a couple chapters I was hooked

The narrators did a great job with this story. I enjoyed the demon and vampire combo. I didn't know I needed this lol now have to wait for book 2 ugh that cliff hanger

I can't wait for the second installment of this duet. Speaking of duets...Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy were perfect together! Xeraphine is such a complex character that has so many layers and Savannah navigated ALL of them. As a listener, I could feel the rage and pain she experienced while also seeing the soft side hidden so deeply beneath the character's need for revenge. James Cassidy as Kairhyse was top tier as well. He brought the intensity needed for this character with his desire to capture and keep Xeraphine at all costs while helping her heal and seek revenge for her past. This story and performance had me hooked from the beginning.
