He’s very sweet

This man is very sweet. He is most definitely a “yes man” haha. He puts on a front for people but he really isn’t that scary. He does like to take control in certain situations if you catch my drift lol.

She will push his every button but also make sure that he’s taken care of. And once she finds out everything that happened, she forgives him. And they get the best revenge on his dad and so called friend! Oh and the ex wife haha!!

The storyline

This book got me out of my book slump. The storyline was different and I loved the characters.

The audiobook performance elevates everything. Joe Arden is Carter… cool confidence layered with quiet vulnerability, every line delivered with purpose and nuance. And CJ Bloom absolutely brings Lex to life, capturing both her sharp mind and her weary heart. Together, their duet narration makes this story feel lived-in and real.

A perfect balance of romance and plot, with characters you’ll root for and emotional beats that land beautifully. The Estate is a compelling start to a series I’ll definitely be following.

A great story

The story was wonderful and the way it was revealed, it kept me interested and when I had to stop for a while, I couldn't wait to get back to the book. There's a little bit of a mystery - about Carter's past, and about Lex's past and I liked a lot discovering everything. With a few small exceptions, the plot was very well structured. The book also has some very well written spice.

As much as I enjoyed the story, I liked the characters even more. Carter was the perfect combination of broody and dominant with loyal and emotional, and with his tough past and need to love and be loved - I liked him instantly. Joe Arden was incredible in this role. I love Joe's big emotional performances in the darker books, and I find it just as impressive when he gives the same power to his quieter and more measured performances, like this one. All of Carter's emotions - he made me feel everything,

Lex was also a very interesting character, and I liked that while she followed Carter's lead in the relationship and adjusted her time and expectations to match his, to me- she was the stronger one. CJ Bloom was fantastic. I especially liked the nuances she gave the different characters, and how she used her voice to make me love one character and passionately dislike another.

One of the best audiobooks I've enjoyed this year!

Ivy wild wrote an incredible book and CJ Bloom and Joe Arden were spectacular bringing our two broken MC's, Lex and Carter to life. The pure emotion poured into their narration was outstanding. You could literally feel the pain of both MC's as they navigated their insane attraction to one another and the growing tension and feelings that were burning between them like a blazing inferno.

Carter and Lex crossed paths when they were both at somewhat of a crossroads in their lives. Their intense and insanely hot moment together was only ever supposed to be that, a moment. Neither of them ever could've imagined they'd cross paths again so soon, or what they'd come to mean to one another. They were a force to be reckoned with in business and pleasure.

They navigated the lies, deceit, and betrayal in Carter's business like it was their life's mission. Lex was a woman on a mission, and with her in his corner, there was no way Carter wasn't going to come out on top.

Hands down one of the best audiobooks I've listened to this year. Thank you to Ivy Wild and Blue Nose Audio for the opportunity to experience this audiobook in advance.

Great audiobook!

This audiobook was so good! The duet narration was perfect, and it made me so invested in the story.

This book features Carter and Lex, and their whirlwind relationship. It moves through both past and present, and it really showed how they were affected by the plotline in this story.

It’s complicated, hard, and they have so much going against them. But they got such a strong relationship and bond because of it. The chemistry between them was on fire, and I loved the spice!

The reason I rate it 4 stars instead of 5, is the change in POV. It really threw me off, and confused me at times. I feel like this book should only have Carter and Lex’ POV.

steamy & great narration

Lex & Carter meet at a bar and have a ONS. Next day Lex discovers she's been hired as Carter's Estate manager. They agree to keep things professional, but eventually become victims to forced proximity.

Narrated in duet. Joe Arden & CJ Bloom as narrators are perfection. Joe Arden had me sweating when he goes low, deep and vulnerable.

Five stars!

Great balance of plot and spice, believable love development, loved having the villains perspective along the way, made their defeat so satisfying!

Top tier narration

This audio is unbelievably amazing. There really is no one like Joe Arden for emotional portrayals, and this entire story is another example of this. He’s so insanely talented at evoking a plethora of emotions through his performance, and I couldn’t have loved this audio more. Add in CJ Bloom in duet, and this easily became one of the best audios of the year. These two are two of the best narrators out there, and they added so much humor, banter, and emotion to this wonderful story. Carter and Lex are amazing together, and I love how they fell in love. Lex is the perfect match to Carter, and their unconditional love was so pure. I love this story!

One night turns into everything 😍

They were supposed to be a one-off. Just a little heat, a little spark, and no strings. But the chemistry? Off. The. Charts. So naturally… they’re basically combusting every time they’re in the same room.

Ivy Wild served up a billionaire romance with slow-burn emotional payoff and a whole lot of 🔥. CJ Bloom + Joe Arden’s voices melted me. They bring all the tension, all the swoon, and so much feeling to every scene.

It’s angsty, sexy, and a little messy—in the best way. If you love that “we weren’t supposed to catch feelings but oops, we did” kind of energy… you’re gonna want this one in your ears ASAP.
