16-year-old Toby Anderson had found himself in some trouble during his teen years. Toby’s life wasn’t easy, and he began to act out. Toby was sent to a juvenile facility in Northern California and was shifted around between different family members. Then, he just disappeared, and everyone seemed to believe Toby had run away. Since Toby had been in trouble, running away didn’t seem far-fetched. Toby’s father searched for him and contacted relatives in other states to see if he had turned up there, but he never did. Then, Toby’s dad died, and not much was done to look for him.

26-year-old Felicia Cochran disappeared from Pell City, Alabama, on June 11, 1992. Felicia's mother spoke to her about her plans and saw her leave home around 6 PM. Then, Felicia was seen arguing with someone in the parking lot of a local hair salon. The people at the salon knew Felicia and were concerned enough to call 911. When the police got there, Felicia was gone, and she was never seen or heard from again. Hours later, a passerby found Felicia's car burning on a rural road in Talladega County, Alabama. Felicia's family felt like they knew who was responsible for her disappearance.

On December 9, 1988, Joan Bernal and her family were preparing to leave their home in Joliet, Illinois, and head to Texas to visit her husband’s parents for the holidays. Things didn’t go as planned, and they were only able to bring one of their children. According to Joan’s husband Gil, they left the following morning, and Joan asked to be let out of the car in Oklahoma. She wanted to go back home and try to get her children from a previous relationship and bring them to Texas.

21-year-old Jason Landry disappeared on December 13, 2020. Jason had just completed his first semester at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He was making the nearly 3-hour drive to his family's home in Missouri City, Texas, for the holidays. It's believed that Jason left around 10:55 PM that night. Around 12:30 AM, a volunteer firefighter discovered Jason's car crashed on a dark, desolate road just outside of Luling, Texas. Luling was along Jason's route home. Jason's parents were jolted awake that night when the phone rang.

In early April, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office announced that they had solved and closed the 2002 disappearances of 20-year-old Angela Mack and her son, Thomas “Mikey” Rettew. Our last episode explored the dramatic turn of events in Angela and Mikey’s mysterious disappearances since we originally aired their story in March. 24-year-old Jacob Hilkin was last seen in Tulalip, Washington, on January 23, 2018. He had been at a casino with some friends and left, stating that he would catch a bus home. Jake was spotted in the area but then disappeared without a trace. We first covered Jake's story nearly three years ago, and today we are bringing you an update on how Jacob was found and what has happened since that time. In mid-June of 2017, 36-year-old Antonio Vela spent an evening hanging out at a local bar in Victoria, Texas. He left right before closing and told the bartender that he planned to grab some food and head home for the night. Hours later, Antonio’s roommate woke up and was getting ready for the day when he decided to take the trash out. He exited the home through the garage, where he found a strange scene. Antonio’s car wasn’t there, but his snacks and phone were lying on the ground. That was when he realized that Antonio wasn’t home and that something wasn’t right.

In the early morning hours of March 27, 1981, Bill Jamison disappeared after a night out at a bar and stopping for a quick bite to eat at a diner. When Bill left the restaurant, it was a clear night in the mid to low the 40s. But something happened to Bill after he left the diner. The waitress who served Bill didn’t notice anything was wrong. Bill ordered the same thing he always got during his late-night stops. Bill finished his meal, walked out into the night, and disappeared forever. Yesterday, you learned about Bill’s disappearance and the efforts to find him early on.

23-year-old Chris Turner disappeared from Las Vegas, Nevada, in early August of 2016. We first covered Chris Turner’s case on July 5, 2017. Shortly after we aired his story, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department closed his case, stating that he had been seen alive. We brought you an update about Chris on September 1, 2017, to discuss the developments. Unfortunately, it took two years to get the case reopened. After his family submitted their DNA, they got a shocking phone call. They learned there was no possible way Chris could have been seen alive during the summer of 2017.

Last week, we brought you the first part of Allison Whiddon’s story, which started with another woman with the same name being mistaken for the missing Allison. She joined Allison’s family in their search for Allison, which included looking at numerous possible suspects, knocking on doors, excavating land, and speaking to witnesses to yield information. Then, there was an alleged confession that detailed Allison’s death- who was involved, when, and where. But was that story believable or a complete fabrication?

Yesterday, we brought you Part 1 of Steve Millis’ story. We explored how his family realized that he had disappeared, Steve’s life, and what we know about the evening he was last seen alive. Today, we will take a look at several people who were suspected of being involved in Steve’s disappearance. You will learn that everyone has secrets of their own, making it very difficult to tell who is hiding information about Steve and who is simply hiding their own secrets.

On June 18, 1985, a man walked into the Bellevue Police Department in Washington to report his 36-year-old wife, Julianne Jaillet, missing. He couldn't recall exactly when he'd last seen her but thought it might have been at the end of May or the beginning of June. He told police that he and his wife of five months had gotten into an argument, and she said she was leaving him, packed her belongings, and walked out.

On June 20, 2020, 20 year old Allyson Watterson’s remains were found near North Plains, Oregon, very close to the last place she had been seen with her boyfriend. In Part 1 of Allyson Watterson’s story, we covered the discovery of her body, the story of her life and relationship with her boyfriend Benjamin, and spoke with law enforcement about their investigation into her disappearance. Allyson disappeared on December 22, 2019 after a weekend of odd, unexplained events that culminated in her disappearance.

We first brought you Emily Noble's story on September 21, 2020. Emily disappeared after spending the evening of May 24, 2020, celebrating her birthday with her husband. They stopped at several restaurants in a popular part of Westerville, Ohio. They then made their way home for the evening. Emily's husband claimed that they went to bed, and during the night, he got up to use the restroom and then went back to sleep in a guest room, not wanting to disturb Emily. When he awoke later that morning, Emily was gone, and her wallet, phone, keys, and car were still at the residence.

22-year-old George James was last seen by his family on November 23, 1998. He argued with his mother at her Millbrook, Alabama, home and stormed off. Something seemed to be weighing heavily on George, like he needed to escape some sort of danger. George’s mother, Tillis, was confused by this interaction but never imagined this would be the last time she would ever see her son. As the days passed with no word from George, Tillis reported him missing. And since that day, she has never stopped searching for her son.

Yesterday, we brought you the first part of the story of Eric Franks, who disappeared sometime in March of 2011 from Saginaw, Michigan. Eric's case had gone cold until last year when his car was suddenly found. However, that wasn't the only surprising turn of events in Eric's case. Today you will hear the rest of the tale that spans from a possibly faked death, to an airplane in Mississippi, and an investigation that found its way to Florida and back to Michigan.

9-year-old Bob Boyes disappeared from Port Republic, Maryland, on December 26, 1968, the day after Christmas. Bob and his brothers had gone to a neighbors' home to show off their new toys. Bob's brothers left the friends' home, but Bob stayed behind. Bob later left to walk home, accompanied by his pet deer, Pete. But according to Bob's parents, he never made it home, and his pet deer later returned without Bob. Nearly 53 years have passed since that chilly winter day that Bob disappeared, but many of his remaining family members still hope that someone will crack this cold case.

In December 2015, 42-year-old Brandon Helms was temporarily living with a friend in Lakeland, Georgia. Brandon and his wife had recently separated, and Brandon was navigating this new territory. Brandon wanted to make his marriage work. He loved his wife and adored their daughters. On December 14th, Brandon’s wife called his parents to ask if they had seen or heard from him, but they had not. Brandon’s friend said Brandon was there when he left the house that day, but when he returned, Brandon was nowhere to be found. Brandon’s truck, phone, cigarettes, and jacket were left behind.

At the beginning of 2021, James Foster Chance disappeared from Grapevine, Texas. No one knows exactly when James was last seen. It's believed he disappeared sometime between January and March. During that time, Texas experienced a record setting winter storm, leaving most of the state without power for days. It was during this storm that it appears that James made a mysterious trip. James' family was alerted by his landlord that something was amiss. That was when they began piecing together his last movements. What they discovered left them with more questions than answers.

58-year-old Robert Baron vanished from Old Forge, Pennsylvania, on a quiet evening in late January 2017. Robert Baron was going about his usual routine at his restaurant when something happened. The story goes that he dropped his son off for the evening, and it's believed that he went back to the restaurant to spend the night in the apartment above so that he could be there first thing in the morning for a dough delivery. But by the following morning, Robert was gone.
