The book was over the top. The performance over dramatic. Like Harlan Conan’s other books better.

Ok, but not great

Interesting premise, mostly well written, but had some issues. One thing that was very difficult was that some big plot points depended on some information from an AI when there was absolutely no way the AI could have possessed the info in question. Also, I did not love the Pork Chop character, was too much of a caricature.

Great Story

Great story. I did struggle with Reese Witherspoon's narration. I love her as an actress, but her narration was a bit distracting. All of the other narrators were great. Over the course of the book, I got used to Reese's style, which was more performance than narration.

Enjoyed the narration, ending was flat

I enjoyed the voices of the narrators but agree with may other readers: a bit over-acted in places and unnecessary repetition of "Porkchop." The ending fell flat for me. Perhaps more of HC's writing/influence and the twist of a happier conclusion would have left me satisfied (?). Good first try, Reese. I might need to just read the book without the theatrics and see if it impacts me differently.

Excellent story and narration

I was engrossed the entire time. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The story was excellent and the narration drew you in. Highly recommend it
