Kept me intrigued the entire time. I love this author and narrator. Would recommend

Got me through my chores today

A bit trope-y and kind of easy to figure out, but there were some interesting elements. Love the shift in the protagonist when she realizes they're gunning for her and she has to dig deep to clear her name and survive. Her deliberations over the moral decisions she constantly encounters is very realistic. Voice acting was perfect.

Fun Christmas Thriller

This is very entertaining and nicely paced. I’m not sure how believable the characters are but I also don’t spend a lot of time with mega-wealthy people, so maybe I’m wrong! Emma seems to be an intelligent and resourceful woman so it’s hard to understand why she would waste her time with a man who has such alarmingly awful friends. But, overall, it’s a fun, short listen. Hayley Atwell is great as the narrator!

This book kept my attention so well! It was predictable, but nonetheless suspenseful and a good listen. I would very much recommend if you like crime and mysteries! The voice artist was also pleasant to listen to.

interesting but didn't like main character

The story was interesting but would have been better if they had made the main character a tad bit stronger. The main female character was very weak, jumped to a lot of conclusions, and made really stupid mistakes for being a smart lawyer. It really was distracting and the story was impacted. i still gave a 4. worth a listen.

Quick listen and surprisingly good

This was a few hours of a free audiobook that was actually very entertaining. A group of extremely unlikable and quite horrible characters and a murder among them ?? Jolly good. The narration was also excellent
