Last fall, we brought you the story of 69-year-old Carolyn Riggins. In July of 2020, after a successful night at her favorite bingo hall just a few miles from her Fort Worth, Texas home, Carolyn had disappeared. Just weeks before we originally aired her story, Carolyn’s remains were found inside the backseat of her car in a deeply wooded, remote part of far north Texas. This area was a place so rural, that it is almost completely inaccessible without thorough knowledge of the area.

28-year-old Michael McKenney disappeared on May 22, 2020. At the time, Michael had been living with his aunt’s family in Fairfield Township, Ohio. He left that day with some of his belongings and then disappeared. Michael’s family became alarmed when they couldn’t reach him. About a week later, Michael’s car was found abandoned at Hueston Woods State Park, a place Michael was known to frequent. Most of Michael’s belongings were left behind. However, his wallet and keys were also missing. Extensive searches of the park have been conducted, but no trace of Michael has ever been found.

On June 3, 2001, 15-year-old Erin Pospisil wanted to visit a friend, but she couldn’t find a ride to her friend’s home not far from the Pospisil home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her dad was asleep after his shift at work, and her mom was still working. Erin continued to ask around for rides. Eventually, a family friend at the Pospisil home offered to take her to her friend’s house. What happened from there is a mystery, but one thing we do know? Erin has never been seen or heard from again.

Last week, we brought you two new episodes on the incredible developments in the case of Angela Mack and Thomas “Mikey” Rettew. If you haven’t listened to the original episode or the first two updates, listen to those first, they will bring you up to speed. Today, we’re taking a look at another aspect of the developments in this case, the furnace that law enforcement alleges Clarence Krusen used to dispose of Angie and Mikey. Is this theory even possible?

On January 27, 2019, an off-duty law enforcement officer observed an abandoned car at a popular trailhead in Chilliwack, British Columbia. The vehicle had a broken rear window, and the police later impounded it, but no one ever came forward. Several months later, the RCMP sent a notice to its registered owner, 25-year-old Kristofer Couture, a native of Alberta. By that time, it was May, and no one had seen or heard from Kristofer in over three months.

On May 10, 2020, 25-year-old Skylar Ware wished his mom a happy Mother's Day. He was in Kansas City, Missouri, and she was in the process of moving to Florida, so the two didn't see each other often but kept in frequent contact. That was the last time Skylar's mother ever heard from her only child, and his posts on social media stopped soon after, leaving everyone to wonder what happened to him. Nearly a year later, with no leads, they're still wondering, and Skylar is still missing.

In December of 2002, 21-year old James Wiggins left his home in Ruston, Louisiana, on foot, saying he was going to a nearby grocery store. James never returned home. The following morning, the owner of a convenience shop located several miles outside of Ruston found a young man sleeping at his store's doorstep. When he opened up his shop, the man came in and bought a pack of cigarettes. The owner checked the man's identification and reported to the police that he was sure it was James Wiggins. Over the years, there have been some bizarre leads that have crept up.

On May 24, 2017, 27-year-old Zacharey Wilks left his home in Lompoc, California, to make the familiar drive to his uncle's residence in Las Vegas, Nevada. He planned to help his uncle prepare the family's vacation home for summer guests and spend time with relatives. However, Zacharey never made it, and he disappeared along with his car. We first brought you Zacharey's story in July of 2019. Since that time, there have been significant developments in the case after Zacharey's car was recovered in October of 2019.

On the chilly fall evening of November 8, 2007, 24-year-old Kyle Fleischmann went to dinner, drinks, and a show with friends in Charlotte, North Carolina. The evening was a celebratory affair- a friend's birthday, another friend's recent job change. However, the night didn't end on a festive note when friends went their separate ways, and Kyle seemingly vanished into the night, leaving behind only a small number of telling but mysterious clues.

On August 7, 2019, Massachusetts native Sandra Crispo was dropped off at her home after taking her car to the shop for repairs. The next day, she didn’t pick up the phone, and by August 9, Sandra had seemingly vanished without a trace. Her daughter went to Sandra’s home intending to drop her sons off before reporting to work and found Sandra missing. There was no one at home, and the horror of Sandra’s mysterious disappearance began. However, there were traces left behind that would tell her story and give Sandra a voice.

On the evening of October 6, 2019, Rosemary Rodriguez went to dinner with her boyfriend and her mother. On the way home, they dropped Rosemary's mother off and headed to her boyfriend's home. According to her boyfriend, Rosemary left his residence in Longview, Texas, after a brief argument. Two days later, a colleague called Rosemary's family to tell them she hadn't been to work, something very much out of character for Rosemary. Rosemary's family immediately called the police to report her missing.

We first brought you Zachary Kennedy's story in January of 2018. Zachary disappeared from Long Beach, California, on October 22, 2017. He was at the home of an acquaintance, Scott Leo, when his phone activity suddenly stopped, and the phone powered down. Scott Leo later stated that Zachary left on foot that night, but he was never seen or heard from again. Six months after he had vanished, police made a gruesome discovery. We all thought that justice would be swift, but we were wrong. It would be two more years before charges were filed against Leo.

On the evening of November 14, 1989, 16-year-old Jennifer Fay left her home in Brockton, Massachusetts, to hang out with some friends. Jennifer was supposed to babysit her siblings that evening, but she wanted to go to a party instead. Jennifer asked her cousin to come over and babysit for her. Jennifer's cousin saw her leave the residence for the last time around 10 PM. There were several sightings of Jennifer that night, but no one is sure where Jennifer went or who she may have been with. Jennifer's family has been searching for answers for 31 years, but all of the leads have gone cold.

On the evening of July 11, 2020, Carolyn Riggins left her apartment in Fort Worth, Texas, to go to her favorite bingo hall down the street. She played bingo that night, and other players reported that Carolyn won several hundred dollars. Carolyn then went to a nearby convenience store, made a few small purchases, and left. Several hours later, not long after midnight, her vehicle’s license plate was caught on camera headed north toward Oklahoma.

On March 10, 2019, Roger Taylor disappeared. He was at his home in Vernon, Alabama, and according to his wife, he began acting out of character. For several years, Roger had been disabled after a stroke and several other serious health problems. He wasn't known to leave home often or drive due to his limited mobility. His wife said that he left that day in their car headed across the state line into Monroe County, Mississippi. He planned to go to a home where one of his daughter's lived. Roger texted his daughter at 9:44 PM, stating that he was lost and stuck.

In July of 2019, 23-year-old Khiara Henry was visiting Hawaii, enjoying a leisure trip by herself. An avid traveler and accomplished athlete, Khiara joined several tour groups for hikes and sightseeing on her vacation. On July 21, 2019, Khiara rented a car from the Kahului airport. The last confirmed sighting of Khiara was on surveillance footage at the rental agency. Less than a week later, an employee of the rental car company contacted Khiara's sister to let her know that the vehicle was found abandoned in a state park. No one has seen Khiara Henry since.

On December 9, 1988, Joan Bernal and her family were preparing to leave their home in Joliet, Illinois, and head to Texas to visit her husband’s parents for the holidays. Things didn’t go as planned, and they were only able to bring one of their children. According to Joan’s husband Gil, they left the following morning, and Joan asked to be let out of the car in Oklahoma. She wanted to go back home and try to get her children from a previous relationship and bring them to Texas.

Viola Findley, a 28-year-old mother of 3, was visiting family in Florida in September of 1983. After her visit, it is believed and assumed that she was making her way back home to her children in Waterloo, Iowa. However, Viola never made it home. The point in which Viola went missing is a mystery. Proper steps were not taken when Viola went missing and the family has been hard-pressed to get answers.
