Amazing Story and Wonderful Characters!!

This was a fun story to end this part of the series!
This is probably one of the steamiest of the series and Keira and Zeus make the most of it with their practically palpable chemistry!
I loved getting to know Keira and Zeus. Keira is an interesting character with her empathic abilities and is a kickbutt prosecutor. Zeus is also interesting because in the previous books he's...well...he's Zeus, but in this story he gets to be so much more! Keira and Zeus were perfect together, no one character kept having the higher ground because each gave as good as they got and it was so entertaining!
I really enjoyed getting to know all the characters the author has created with this series and I hope she continues on with the world she has created for them because there are so many more characters whose stories I hope get told!!

While technically it could be read as a standalone, read the rest of the series first. There are minor spoilers in this book from the other books in the series and reading them first really gives a good look at Zeus and some of his characterization. So just read/listen to them first, so that this book can have maximum enjoyment.

The dual narrator was perfect! The male did all the male voices, even during the female narrator's POV and vice versa. They each did a fantastic job with getting into character and giving them feeling and emotions. I listened at the normal 1x speed because that was good pacing for me for the story.

Zeus aka Big Daddy Z!

Zeus is the love story about the Greek God King and a Demi Goddess living at in modern times and portrayed as an high powered legal couple. I freaking love this book. The storyline is well conceived. It has the right amount of steam and comedy. Had me laughing out loud throughout the entire book. (Warning be mindful of eating or drinking while listening to this book 🤣) Carly did an excellent job in portraying Zeus the playboy god king as an arrogant defense lawyer and Kiera as a strong confident and equally prominent prosecuting lawyer. They dance around each other in and out of the court room and
when the two come together the sparks literally fly and the battle of wits begin. I freaking love this book!! This is the epitome of romcom! Please please continue this series.

Zeus

Zeus, king of the gods, is known as Zane, criminal defense attorney. When he must find a new wife, or lose everything, he zeros in on Kiera. There’s more to Kiera than just someone to fulfill a role. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride as this story unfolded.

Carly Spade has once again done a marvelous job of bringing mythos to a contemporary time. I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series, but I think this might be my favorite.

Stella Bloom and Thomas Locklear really brought Kiera and Zane to life. I enjoyed both of their performances.

Zeus will make you swoon !

I did not expect to enjoy this as much as i did. Carly Spade is a new author to me and i was delighted with her witty style. Stella Bloom and Thomas Locklear made me laugh out loud with their banter and drama. And the chemistry between H and h was off the charts! Sizzling hot but also sweet and endearing. The world and dynamics of the greek gods has always intrigued me but Zeus has always been a mystery . Well mystery no more, he might be my new favorite of them all! If you want to know how Zeus ended up a criminal lawyer in NY and was forced into a marriage by his grandmother then you will love this 😂

This series is so good the storyline is easy to follow and the characters are lovable. I enjoyed Zeus story it is action packed and full of adventure. The ending was great and the narration was good. Starting the next one.

This is the latest story in the "Contemporary Mythos" series. It is a stand alone read wtih connected characters or should we say Gods. It is a nicely developed story about Zeus, the Greek God, finally finding his fated queen and getting a second chance. Keira is a prosecutor with a winning streak. She is professional and confident in the courtroom and wins every case. It does not help that she is an empath. Her next case is against Zane Vronti who is just as tough and cocky as all get out. The attraction between them is instant but she definitely gives him a challenge. I really did not like Zane but Keira brought out the best him and slow his armor cracked. This is such a great story that I was glued to from beginning to end. The story has some suspense, hot erotic moments, some drama, a touch of crazy, passion and romance. I think the narrators did a good job with the story as well. I like that there were two narrators for this story. It really added to the story.

This is one fantastic story of gods and fated mates and is one fantastic and amazing story with characters you will fall in love with and it makes Greek gods seem normal and someone you could be friends with

Exceptional story!

Kiera Bazin is a prosecuting attorney who has not yet lost a case. She doesn't much like defense lawyers and Zane Vronti is one that she really detests. He lives right across the street in a luxury high-rise apartment and Kiera has to admit that she's kept an eye on the comings and goings of women from his place at all times of the day and night. When he shows up as the defense attorney for this case, she knows she's going to have to give her best performance. What she doesn't know is that Zane is actually Zeus, not just a god but the King of the gods and he has a problem. His wife, Queen Hera, left him and he has a short time to find a new queen, or he will lose some of his powers. Kiera is in a similar position with a similar deadline. She is from Canada and has only a month or so to file her paperwork to legally remain in the country. Zeus realizes that they can help each other out with their problems, but first she has to know who he really is. This story has a wonderful dose of wit and clever word usage to add more layers to the book. The characters are creatively detailed and the physical and emotional connection between the two is evident in that detail. The ending is magnificent, perfect for a coronation! Thomas Locklear and Stella Bloom provide the narration and are at their best! They do an amazing job portraying the characters with their emotions, attitude and personality; what's more, they climb into their roles and become the character.

It's Zeus' turn to find a new, better suited forever. Known as Zane, he's the epitome of a high-powered playboy attorney. I love how he meets his match with Keira. Of course, she's got her own demons to deal with before Zeus strolls into her life and he doesn't help.

Olivia, Keira's best friend and paralegal, is a scene stealer, cracking me UP! Her late night calls, her love of dirty books, her Swiss cheese filter, and all of that sass makes her incredibly endearing. Every girl needs a friend like her! 👍🥳

I busted out laughing at the quips Zeus levels at his brothers when they have a little reunion. I'm chuckling now just thinking about them. 🤣😂🤣 Seriously.

I love the tie-ins with all of the prior books, and while I'd recommend reading in order, it's not required.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Thomas Locklear and Stella Bloom both of whom I've enjoyed before. This book is no different. ❤️ One thing I really love is the editing that has the characters maintaining their voices throughout the book. This is honestly how I wish every audio book was done.
