The Alien War continues.

The enemies have raised the stakes by attacking a colony world on the outskirts of known space.

Rade and his team of elite warriors join a Marine division to retake the colony while the human fleet battles it out with the alien forces in orbit.

This time, Rade's platoon is equipped with the fearsome power of the Zeus mechs - war machines that harbor electrolasers capable of discharging a billion volts of electricity per shot. You'd have to be an idiot to stand up to one of these.

Tell that to the aliens.

During one of his intense sorties into the fallen capital city, Rade makes an important discovery that could completely change the course of the war, not to mention his own life.

Very enjoyable military scifi. I appreciate that the author completes each story but leaves enough suspense / lead-in to the next book - without a complete cliffhanger!

Great installment in this series!

This 2nd installment of the series is as action packed as the first. This time the mechs are as big and as bad as their namesake. They are Zeus mechs and pack an electrical attack that will zap the heck out of anything they are fighting. But will it be enough? Rade and his crew are now battling on a colony world that has been taken over. They will be facing something far more deadly and insidious then just bioengineered enemies and mechs. It may be more than they can handle and will definitely change how the war is fought moving forward. Great story and great narration.
