Fun adventure

It is an interesting take on going on an adventure but it's fun. A few interesting choices on the authors part but it makes it lest predictable.

Good I like that nothing big changed

I don’t like them book try to change what you liked about the first book in the second and you did not do that every felt like the story was just progressing, he is not op or the chosen one him seems like a average person just trying to survive

Generally fun listen, worth the credit. Step down from the first though

Plot choices in this one were not what I was expecting after reading the first book. Progression felt slow and too much time was spent on the individual summoning adventures and not enough on more general world building. Would have liked to see more reoccurring characters get developed. We saw the gnome briefly but nothing from the other linked summon women strangely. The lack of the other 3 most important characters from book 1 (Minerva, Gnome and the woman he saved) really reduced how much I cared about events.

it's fun

made the work day go by like nothing I just wish it was longer. it did just sorta end like the snail of encounters seemed a bit off. can't wait for the next

Outstanding

You are summoned, the book continues where it left, the pacing great as always, full of action, we got a few new intresting characters, rico still a pretty relatible mc not op.
Great second book cant wait for the 3rd.

It’s….ok?

Honestly the getting summoned part isn’t bad, that’s actually pretty decent. The stuff the happens when he’s on earth though, it’s just kinda stupid. The author for some reason decided to make things a bit dark instead of just keeping the story as a fun romp, and the way they’re going about it is a bit over the top and starting to make me sigh in exasperation. I’m writing this with 3.5hrs left in the book and I’m not sure I’ll bother finishing. You might like it, wouldn’t criticize if you did, the good/bad ratio for me is just not in the story’s favor.

Great Concept but story isn't landing

I really like the original concept but as the book goes on my interest is waning. I think it is due to poor character development of MC. He is likeable and competent but has no relationships with other characters that aren't superficial. He does intelligent things but ultimately they end up not mattering in long-haul. There is some hope in the end of this novel that he will become part of a Refuge of other summoners which may add drive to the character in future books. Ultimately it is not how powerful a character is that is interesting but why they use their power in the context of relationships, think that is what this lacks so it just doesn't hold my interest.
