Love me a good Jesse story

Love Jesse and Ava. They are over the top crazy in love and Jesse has some monumental baggage. Their story is a crazily emotional, tortuous and toxic journey to a better place…together. So much healing to be done. So many trust issues. But together their love blossoms and hurdles become less obstructive to a healthier, happier relationship. Personal growth and acceptance.

There aren't enough words in the English language to describe this story! Absolutely loved hearing Jesse & Ava's love story from Jesse's POV. I actually find Jesse's POV so much more interesting than from Ava's. I loved listening to the story from her POV, but with Jesse, my heart just breaks for him. His back story is interesting, heart breaking and you can feel how much he loves Ava & wants a normal happy life with her. He just needs to face his demons and overcome them and Ava gives him the strength to do that. JEM is one of my very favorite authors and I have listened to all of her books, but the This Man series is by far my very very favorite. And who doesn't love hearing Shane as the voice of Jesse! I highly recommend to anyone to read this series & fall in love with The Lord of the Manor! Can't wait for the next book. Amazing.....who has the power?????

I think the gap has made this better.

Listening to this has led a whole new dimension to this love story. I think the gap in time has made this better. It prompted me to go back and read the story from Ava's point of view again.

Another Eoic performance from Shane. I love these series of Jessie and Ava. The characters are all fantastic. JEM is one it my favorite authors. I own most of her books and audios. She is an automatic click. I’m looking forward to the Sarah debacle in book 3. Jessie and Ava were meant to be with their toxic crazy life. Thank you for another 5star listen♥️

Absolutely Fabulous!

This wasn’t just a retelling from Jesse’s POV. It had so much more insight into Jesse and Ava’s story. If you’re a fan of this series this is a must read! JEM did it again!

Best 24 hours I’ve ever spent listening to a book!

I thought I knew Jesse Ward after reading and listening to Jodi’s books many, many times for over ten years. Shane performing Jesse’s POV has introduced a whole new character that I’ve fallen even deeper in love with. Jodi has exposed even more layers of Jesse in this book and Shane has met every challenge she has written for him with such depth and emotional integrity that the line blurs between fiction and reality. You cannot listen to this book and not feel every minute of joy and pain that Jesse is experiencing. Thank you for an most incredible telling of this part of Jesse’s story, Jodi! And thank you for such an unforgettable, dynamic performance, Shane! I can’t wait for This Woman Forever.

Absolutely loved this audio. So glad Jodi stuck with Shane as the narrator. Jesse, Jesse, Jesse!!!! Listened to this straight through. Cannot wait for the final book in March! Already ordered it. The covers are gorgeous!!! Jesse is going to have to face the rest of the demons he has kept from Ava..

while alot about Jesse is sexy af, sometimes it annoys me that Ava is such a push over. still one of my favorite series, and the voice of Jesse is superb 👌 👏

Love me some Jesse and Ava

This book has made me question my love affair with this couple. I’m not so sure I could have tolerated Jesse in this one. Ava is one strong woman. I know I couldn’t have delt with his mood swings. I really think he was a hair from being committed for some serious mental help. But you’ve just got to admire his heart and passion. Can’t wait for the next book. Bring it on.
