HOLY HELL!!

Talk about book whiplash! Will Thorne & Alyssa Avery killed it with the narrating. This is a must read book!

Not for the easily offended

Ive had to wait a few days to write the review on this one cause my mind was all over the place. In the end.... This book falls into my favorites list. This is not a safe love story, its not for someone looking for a fun story. Its twisted, its manipulative and hot as sin!! The sexual scenes are awesome, the story is so different that its awesome! Wil the bad guy win??

Wicked games

I read this back when it was called ward and loved it, I’ve read a few times now and was excited when I saw on audio. I think it’s definitely gonna be too dark for some ppl but this was one of my first books in dark romance, and it totally opened me up. I would recommend for any that like the darker side of romance for sure

This had the hair on the back of my neck raised it was so shocking. I love Zoe Blake and while this story is dark and disturbing I can’t wait to start the next book…

Incredible

This story is disturbing, shocking, and breathtaking. It's like nothing I've encountered. It kept me on the edge the entire time. My first book by this author. It will definitely not be the last!
The performances were outstanding.

Dual narrations

I loved how far Richard would go to have Elizabeth. He was so OTT possessive. I didn’t like some of the ways he “punished” Elizabeth.

Lizzie and Richard

This book is so dark and twisted. Richard took Lizzie and took over her entire life making her think she is living in the Victorian era - from the clothing to the full cast of actors to make her believe she is actually in that era. The fact that he is a billionaire allows him to pay a ton of people to keep up the game. Richard is absolutely bat sh!t crazy and is a sick b@stard. Unbelievably so. I could not stand him and wanted to b!tch slap him. It will be interesting to find how how this series ends. Will Thorne and Alyssa Avery did a very good job with the narration.

Dark dark dark

Wasn’t expecting it to be so dark think I might’ve finally found my limit the fact that he messed with her mind so much she thought she was really Elizabeth and not Lizzie baffles me it’s crazy

Extra Dark with a Side of Darkness

Full disclosure, I've already read the series, so I knew what I was getting into. The narration brings Wicked Games to a new level. This is definitely the darker side of Zoe Blake. Zoe has again created a whole colorful world that is suspenseful and sometimes straight-up disturbing. It's dark grey and edgy and gothicy, and I think I mentioned - DARK. Will Thorne voices the stalker, possessive, bat-sh@t crazy Richard with perfection. Alyssa Avery's melodic voice brings Lizzy's vulnerability, confusion, and strength to life. Dual narration can be iffy for me, but Alyssa's male voice is on point, and Will avoids over-doing the female which is what normally makes me stop listening. These two narrators have me anxious to start book 2. The only criticism I have is that Richard and Lizzie's books should have been one or maybe two books. I think book 1 gets so dark at times it scares some readers/listeners from continuing through the series. I feel bad for those folks because Roman and Aurora are coming, and they are all kinds of fun. The payoff is there - keep going!

Be warned, it’s dark, it’s not real.

I read a lot of reviews that didn’t like this book at all but I just had to see what all the fuss was about. Since I was expecting it to be a dark, I was still not expecting the ending but if you like the dominant, controlling, obsessed billionaire that gets what he wants, even if it is kidnapping and painful kinky sex scenes then you will like this book.
