A wonderful story

I listen to these stories while driving. Sometimes I worry about having an accident when I get too involved and the book still playing. lol But, seriously, the books are great and Jack Calihan is one of the best narrators!

A post-apocalyptic story of a world where wolves are the dominating species and women are not accepted as leaders. This book has a lot of hard-core spanking and different sex acts. The storyline is wonderful and full of clashing personalities and mistrust. I loved the story and can’t wait to read the follow-ups.

The narration is wonderful and kept me listening and feeling as if I were present in the story.

The story was very entertaining and intriguing and had multiple twists and turns that we’re not expected. I would highly recommend this book if you like the shifter romance genre.

Get ready for the spankings!!! Ouch, my butt hurts

So, this book is about the Alpha who needs to tame his mate who also happens to be an Alpha. Can't have two Alpha's mating. So, she must put on a dress and be ladylike. OUCH!! She has to totally change who she is. He breaks her repeatedly through beatings and embarrassments until she's obedient.

This book is very well written and the narration is just perfect. It's about the Alpha totally spanking the woman to submission. (I would call it rape... buy hey... Maybe a "NO" means "more spankings till you can't handle the pain".

Once an Alpha

Ronia was the only she-wolf alpha. She was victorious in every battlefield she encountered. Her men loved her as well as her pack. But she started having dreams of a warlord mating with her. She didn't want or need a mate. But the powers to be decided different. The warlord realized that she was his forever, dated mate. He had to conquer her pack with kindness and generosity. So, he took over without a fight. With a red bottom and a dominance she couldn't fight, she had to realize he was alpha male. He had his hands full trying to teach her that he was her master. This is a good book and the audio is magnificent. I have read several of Delta James books and the narrative adds a beautiful aspect the story. Jack Calihan has a very commanding, and lovely voice. I recommend this audio book to everyone who wants a different direction to reading. But keep in mind, it's for adults only! Oh la.la!! Beyond high heat!

Enjoyable

This is the first Delta James book I have listened to. The story was enjoyable but there were a couple of times were it was a bit unbelievable. For instance, she goes from fighting tooth and nail to submitting g after one kiss. In my opinion there should have been a bit more fight before she became a willing mate. Despite a couple of moments like that that made the story feel a bit rushed, it was still enjoyable. I received a free promo copy of the audiobook, but the review was my own.

Wow!!!!!! This is an incredible narration!!! Warlord is one of many favorites I have with Delta James. She pulls you into the characters and the story. Jack Calihan makes each character so real you can see them.. I can’t wait for the next audiobook!
