Ehhhh

It's a struggle to finish this. A lot of this information you can get by listening to episodes of her podcast. A lot of the information/story is repetitive.

Good book, bad narration

I liked the book, but her narration was way too fast. please hire a quality narrator. I could hardly listen to it.

Reclassify as religious text

I echo what Barry M from Scotland wrote in his review. I don’t usually return Audible books but I really wanted to return this one. You’re drawn in because you’re interested in Intermittent Fasting but are then bombarded with fundamentalist religion with readings from the bible at the end of every chapter. A joke. Listen to Jason Fung, Gin Stephens, 6 Miles to Supper etc if you want to inform yourself on IF. This is not the one.

More of a Christian prayer book

Had to give up after being preached to (literally preached to) that the Devil was my temptation when stood in front of the biscuit tin. Really disappointed - this will suit a Christian dieter, but not me. Too many prayers, not enough detail around the fasting diet. We’re quoted excerpts from the Bible, which is fine if that's your thing, but hardly a universal approach. It should be reclassified as a religious text.

Good book

Great book. one reviewer said the narration was too fast but i dont agree. here you will find a mixed bag of IF, Paleo, intuitive and mindful eating and more. a good resource if you have auto immune issues as author had Hashimotos thyroiditis and claims she has reversed it. (there is hope!) Author has a strong Christian faith and refers to bible a lot. I am not religious at all and the references were a bit over the top but it is worth persevering. I heard a lot of different info in the book that I will be trying.
