Publisher's Summary

United we stand, divided we fall.

Once again reunited, the Lucky 13 set out to hunt down their adversaries - only to be met with an entirely new set of unexpected obstacles. As much as Bree is burning to finally get her revenge, it soon becomes obvious that on their own they are no match for the forces opposing them. With giving up not an option, they will have to find a way to bolster their numbers - or failing that, make the ultimate sacrifice.

Tedious

I have enjoyed this series up to this book. The main characters continual fighting (snarking and snorting) is dull in the extreme. The series seems to have lost its way and is padding out for another book. The pseudo conspiracy background theme is just silly. I could not fininsh this book as it was juts more of the same and pretty boring, a shame as the series started out pretty well.

I have come to hate the protagonist so I quit

I realized about half-way through this book that I desperately wanted to get away from the protagonist. I don't like her. I can't find a redeeming quality that would even make her an anti-hero. She's passive aggressive, self absorbed, emotionally abusive, and manipulative. It is fortunate that she is fictional because I can just stop listening to her. The author also seems to have a fetish for the terms "Knocked Up,' "Rack," and "Chuff." I can't take it anymore... I am pulling the plug.

If only......

I have mostly enjoyed this series, but this is the last book I will read/listen. The constant UN-NEEDED bickering and anger between Bree and Nate is TOO much. But this I could almost tolerate if the ridiculous inner turmoil that Bree goes through during a zombie apocalypse would just end. Yes maybe both of these things were needed for the 1st 2 books, but know its just makes Bree annoying beyond what I can tolerate as a woman. Don't get me wrong these are worth reading/listening, but now it is time for me to move on.

unique story

Unique story compared to other apocalyptic stories. They're are many stories, which I like since I'm unemployed due to Covid so I have plenty of entertainment. great performance!

There are a couple of annoying things I've noticed.. Nate has about 400 different smiles, which is unrealistic and silly, and "muscles jumping in his face" all the time (as do other characters). Tons of 'knashing my teeth" (never grinding) and my least favorite... the use of the word "mirth" which is constant and very anyone. The relationship sarcasm and bickering banter starts out cute but gets old quickly.

***Use a thesaurus and stop using three g
same phrases over and over a hundred time!

Once again Adrienne Lecter writes an amazing book

Loved listening to Grenn Field "Unity" book six again for like the 12th time. Never get tired of listening to Bree drive Nate off the wall.
Loved the narrator, I think she was the right fit for this series. Highly recommended.

as always

Tess, as always, conveys the story outstandingly. Adrienne Lecter really knows how to captivate her audience, and she once again has given us an astounding piece of literature.

I love this series!

I love this series there's lot's of action and laugh out louds moments. I loved the relationship between Nate and Bri even if I had to roll my eyes during their arguments they are like two kids. Yet their relationship works. I don't like romance books but their relationship was low key not enough mush to drive you away. The relationships between members in their group are strong, you root for them through out the series, I was sad when a few people didn't make it. For me listening to the book even reading the series is like watching a movie. I felt the story can go on and on in my mind that's a great story when it leaves you feeling that way. I am not going to get into plot I don't like messing things up for other people. Very entertaining Tess Irondale knocks this series out the park. I know I will listen and read this story over and over again through out the years. That is another sign of a great book when you can read the book over and over. Like watching a movie again you pick up things you missed the first time. I really can't say enough good things about this book.

Brilliant

If you like this genre you will love this series, but read all the books in order. Narrator is excellent really does the books justice. No complaints and really happy the author has said she will extend this series of Green Fields, brilliant.

Brilliant as usual, tied up the story from all the previous books and I was gutted as assumed that this would be the last one...however was delighted to find out that she is currently writing the next!!!
