amazing!!!

absolutely loved it wouldn't change a thing about it had me biting my nails the hole time

Wanted more Zombies, still enjoyed!!

I like the location the author selected. Made me have a different a way of thinking about that culture and firearms. I wanted more Zombies. The characters were believable and most of the events I could imagine happening in the small villages. I ended the series satisfied.

A new take on a zombie apocalypse genre(slight spoilers)

Over all, a very engaging series. I enjoy the characters and how they are written, they feel real. I like how the story comes together book by book, in someways you can see certain interactions coming, foreshadowing. However, i liked that and got excited knowing 2 characters i liked were going to meet each other. I love the concept of mythology and supernatural aspects of this, it felt refreshing. (I am new to zombie literature, i consume a lot of zombie movies and tv shows tho, and i haven’t seen this done before in movies).

My major problem with this book is that there is a lot of repetition of certain characteristics/ phrases: the part where the zombies eyes were described as 8 balls like every chapter in the first half or the characters saying “get the hell out of dodge”. These 2 repetitions took me out of the story as it felt over used and was said like every 20 minutes. It was kinda off putting , but at the end these repetitions lessened.

Good Story and Character Developement

I really loved this series, maybe more than the Dead Meat series. It is a great story with a lot going on. I do feel like it wrapped up very neatly, but maybe too neatly and too quickly. Otherwise I loved it.

This was a really good read/listen. The story was gripping and kept me entranced. I wish then ending had been a bit “more”. Still great writing and narration. The characters were pretty awesome too!

Interesting setting. Norway. Good story.

I had trouble at first getting into the story. Then it became a page turner. The flow of the different character stories was pretty cool. I liked the way the author meshed their actions. It is about zombies. I did get a little frustrated by the character who did not seem plucky for a long time. It only detracted from the story a little. The narrator was good. I enjoyed the buy.

Wasn't ready for it to end.

Preface to say post apocalyptic/dystopian future have been my favorite genre the last 10 years. I've read a lot of these types of books and what I liked about this one was how the virus started, original (to me at least) Good character development and even though it wrapped up nicely, I wasn't ready for it to be over. My favorite authors are Mark Tufo amd Peter Meredith, if you like those authors you'll enjoy his work. I have the Dead Meat series too, and just downloaded another complete series by him, I think called the Last Man Standing? It's nice to be able to purchase complete series with 1 credit, we'll worth it.

Loved This Book

I love Zombie movies or shows. I had never really read a zombie-type book until this one, and I can honestly say it became one of my favorites. I listened to all of them in two days. It's a good Read.
