Unexplained Encounters: 10 Modern Day Events That May Never Be Explained: Are You A Believer?

There are encounters that may never be fully explained. These stories are filtered through half-forgotten memories and traverse between the borderlands of reality and nightmare. Ethereal figures who seem to materialize into thin air for just long enough to pique our imagination and then disappear once again. Perhaps there are some encounters that will forever elude us.

Nevertheless, the human mind endeavors to find something tangible in the great expanse of the unknown. We still seek and strive to find something we can hold onto as the shadows gather around. Just take the case of the reverend who was stalked by strange entities for over 25 years. These encounters with the paranormal proved to be the ruination of both his marriage and his local parish, but one night in late October, he managed to snap a few photos he believed would redeem his good name. Could his flailing grasps at the paranormal make others believers, too?

This audiobook contains unbelievable encounters with aliens, ghosts, goblins, and every oddity in between. Keep listening to find out if these modern-day chance encounters with the unknown can make you a believer as well.

I Want to Believe

As a fan of all the different supernatural shows on TV this book was a good collection. My only real compliant is that it wasn’t longer, and the repeat of the Men In Black chapter.

The stories are well told and while I had knowledge of what they were involved with I had only heard of one of the stories. I would have preferred not having the Fire in the Sky story about Travis Walton. That story has been told enough that there is no new ground to cover with it. The other stories were quite interesting and I especially enjoyed the MIB one even though it was told twice.

Eddie Leonard Jr. did a great job with the narration. His narration and voice were perfect for the retelling of the accounts.

Duplicate stories

The book contained 2 of the same exact stories which was disappointing. The narrator was putting me to sleep. I usually like books like this but won't buy another. Not as good as I expected it to be.

Not great. Not bad. Just ok

I like the narration. The stories I've personally heard 100 times. If you haven't listened to or read much in the genre, then the stories may be new to you.

Way too short!

The content wasn't bad and the stories were interesting yet the book went quickly. The narrator was okay.

hmm...

These 10 encounters are presented to you without any influence from the author. The only one i had heard of was Travis Walton. Some of these cases are from the past and i'd like to learn more about them. They were all very intriguing. The audio book was just a little over 1 hour so i would most certainly listen to more of these! The quality was good and the narrator, Eddie Leonard Jr. did just fine.

An Interesting Listen

This is a collection of nine, not ten, stories of various people encountering the unexplained and supernatural. Whether you believe these stories truly happened or not doesn't really matter. The ones who experienced the different situations do believe. These are pretty much dealing with different types of alien abductions with only one being supernatural. There is only nine due to one (Men in Black) being told twice. The narration was well done. Eddie Leonard Jr has a nice smooth voice. His narration is done at a nice pace and made the listening experience enjoyable. Overall this book is an interesting listen and if you are into hearing stories dealing with these topics then you should give it a listen, it is entertaining.
