Completely HOOKED!

This is the first book of the series to come and it has it all. Its action packed, full of suspense, many twists and turns and some hot chemistry. The Fae have been conquered by humans and are forced to live in a small portion of their former kingdom. Bramble’s Edge Academy is where Fae teens go to learn to control their magic and once there the students are spelled to believe that everything is rainbows and roses. Ryker and Maurelle end up at the academy at the same time and they reluctantly become friends after circumstances force them together time and time again. They uncover plots and secrets and nothing is as it seems. This book is exciting and I really enjoyed the world building! There’s lots of magic and suspense and I can’t wait to read more in the series!

Judge the book by it cover...

... you will not be disappointed. Brenda Trim created a perfect start for this series. The world build happened at a nice pace and what a world, Ryker and friends will have a pretty large job. At first I was not sure about Alex Black but that lasted less than 5 minutes, he did a great job with the narration. Each character has their own unique sound that fits them. Book 1 ends at nice stop, now my larges problem is: Will I be able to wait for book 2?

Magnificent story!

I have to start by saying I am bad at listening to books out of order, with that being said I listened to this audiobook after listening to book two in the series.
I believe this author has a wonderful imagination and way of telling a story! I found this book to be extremely well written and narrated. It very entertaining and definitely worth the price. I love getting lost in the action and adventure of a story. This storyline has action, suspense, intrigue,and romance. It had me hanging on for the ride.
The narrator does a spectacular job with the characters and voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters and voices of each character. He also has a fantastic voice for male and female voices. I can’t wait for by this narrator. I definitely recommend this book!

Wonderfully entertaining and fantastic audiobook. I highly recommend this. Narrator did a fantastic job also on this.

Unearthed

When fae are taken from their families to supposedly learn how to control their new powers things get very interesting to say the least. Friendships and relationships are formed. And between this group things are unearthed. One of which many didn’t see coming. The story ends in a pleasant manner not really a cliff hanger but you know the story isn’t finished being told.
Alex as usual did a great job in narration of this book.

Great coming of age fantasy, I cannnot wait to see what challenges the young king will have to face in book two. The narration was on point and the story line was seamless.

Unearthing the Fae King is the first book in the Bramble's Edge Academy Series. I really enjoyed this book. It kept me interested through the entire book. Can't wait to dive into book 2.

An excellent start to a new series!

Unearthing the Fae King by Brenda Trim is a fun and spicy coming of age story; only for fae. Full of magic, mystery, and suspense this book allows readers (or listeners) to join the new students in an abundance of adventures. While the 2 main character’s magic is developing faster than anyone expected they quickly feel that something is just not right. So of course they start investigating. And Wow! They definitely turnover some big stones to discover the unexpected.
I highly recommend those to all readers, old enough to read the spicy stuff.
5 stars for the narration too.

when fae come into their powers they are forced to attend the academy; Rykar and Maurelle's powers are unlike most others that they are "throw together" and end up working toward to uncover the truth of what is really going on.
