Publisher's Summary

This way of dieting has been gaining vast popularity and chances are you’ve heard of it. If you’ve done any research on IIFYM & Flexible Dieting in the past, perhaps you've realized that no foods are off limits. No food groups are labeled good or bad for you. What matters, in this style of dieting, is if your macro budget has room for the foods you want to eat. If so, then you’re in the clear!

So how did this type of dieting come about? Well, bodybuilders in the old days simply got tired of eating the same bland foods when preparing for a competition. They ate the kind of food that scares people away from attempting to lose weight in the first place! These boring, clean meals, included chicken, broccoli, rice, veggies, eggs, and well - you get the picture. There's no denying that this "bro science" approach to dieting works, but the real question is: is it worth it? After years of making bodybuilders miserable "If It Fits Your Macros" was born. IIFYM is thus a way to improve one's body composition by not solely relying on clean foods.

MUST BE LISTEN!

This book is informative and teaches you the science behind what you eat and how it effects your body. I consider myself to be a fairly healthy person who is typically conscious of the food I put into my body. The MacroNutrient Diet allowed me to fine tune my diet by eating the right amounts of macronutrients to build muscle and strength.

Perfect for begineers.

I realized I've been wasting my time running and running and running thinking that would lose my spare tire. The book is easy to follow and breaks down what you should eat and how often. Wish I had this back when I first graduated college.

Best book.

Great book for food that tastes good and is healthy. I am a competitive bodybuilder and needed new recipes that still allowed me to stay on a training diet.

Easy Applied.

I'm excited to try these recipes, but.. there are no pictures at all. That bugs me! Just give me a couple shots of the finished product! The food sounds good though and recipes are simple. I'm sure I'll get good use out of this.

Nice.

It is absolutely loaded with delicious recipes. Before you get into the recipes themselves, there is a good explanation of macronutrient requirements. Many different recipes are included such as breakfast recipes like protein pancakes and vanilla protein porridge. Each recipe has the ingredients, the method, and the macronutrients. There is no fluff, but there is plenty of good stuff. Excellent book!

WOW! This book is the cure for all the hype, hoopla, pseudo science, and black hat tactics used to market weight loss programs, supplements and exercise fads. The book is a bible of "what works".

Great Change I feel.

This was best source of fitness information I've listen. The author cuts through any hype about fad diets. This book explains proper nutrition, and basic no nonsense weightlifting, whether you are losing fat, gaining fitness/strength, or a competitive body building.

Best for begineers.

Great book, very informative. Good information. Slightly repetitive if you are already familiar with macroing but its still a good refresher and resource to have around.

This book is incredible!

This book is incredible! One of the hardest things about weight loss is that there is so much misinformation about it. This book debunks the gimmicks and gets into the science of eating well and exercising! I had no idea how wrong everything I was doing was! Its great too because it takes you past weight loss and actually to exercises to to maintain your end goal.
