Publisher's Summary

Wishcrafter Darcy Merriweather might be a witch with the ability to grant wishes for others, but wishing isn't going to help her catch a killer....

When wishcrafter Darcy Merriweather's personal concierge company is hired by elite runner Abby Stillwell to organize the Wicked Mad Dash, a competition that takes place in the Enchanted Village, Darcy is more than willing to help her friend. As blizzard conditions rage on the morning of the race, Darcy's main concern is the terrible weather - until Abby goes missing...and is later found dead, buried in the snow.

As Darcy investigates her friend's untimely death, she learns she didn't really know Abby well at all. Those closest to the woman - her secret fiance, her roommate, her ex-boyfriend, and her coworkers at Balefire Sports - seem to have plenty to hide, too. As Darcy digs deeper, she uncovers complicated relationships, a possible embezzlement scheme, and allegations of cheating against a top athlete.

Just when Darcy is convinced she's hit a dead end in the case, a startling burglary and the hunt for Abby's elusive ex send Darcy down a dark, dangerous trail. It will take the help from friends, family, and a little bit of magic for Darcy to stop a stone-cold killer from striking again.

SPECTACULAR

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! These stories! And the narrator Coleen Marlo is marvelous!! She really brings the books to life. The story lines are especially great since I truly love a good "whodunit" and the bits of humor are a real treat! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!

Fun and Engaging...

Love what's going on with Harpers character, that was a nice surprise! The stories are fun and engaging, not too complicated. Perfect for bedtime listening...although I was up with the last couple of chapters to see if I was right about the murderer ;) I hope the series continues, would love to see what happens next!

Another Hit!

I love this series! Heather Blake/Webber has created a fun and imaginative world and Coleen Marlo really brings it to life. To Catch a Witch continues to follow the lives of the lovable residents of the Enchanted Village. This cozy mystery is a read everyone can enjoy. Be warned though, it'll have you counting down the days until the release of book 9!

This series just keeps getting better...

I love this series, but this installment is my favorite so far. I loved so much about it. They mystery was well written and kept me guessing until close to the end. The new characters that were introduced were well developed and added so much to the mystery. But I especially love the interactions between the recurring characters. They have become like good friends and their personal lives really matter to me. Darcy, Nick, Mimi & Aunt Vi, The Elder, Missy & Archie, Harper & Marcus, Godfrey, Pepe & Mrs. P, Glenda,Vince, Noel & Liam, Evan & Starla...It might seem like there is an over abundance of recurring characters, but when you are reading/listening to it, it is perfect. Dennis Goodwin's character was so much fun this time around. I especially like the direction that Darcy and Glenda's relationship has gone. Glenda has evolved so much through this series, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the difficulties that are bound to arise in the next installment because of Dorothy. I have listened to this (and the rest of the series) multiple times and I'm sure that I will continue to enjoy them again, as I wait for the next in the series.

Captivating!

Charming and creative story. Continued character development leaves the reader wanting even more detail. The narrator brings the characters to life; just as I imagined while reading the hard copy book. Loved it and anxiously awaiting #9!

LOVE THE WISHCRAFT SERIES

MORE MAGICAL MAYHEM, AND DOROTHY IS ON THE WARPATH. AS ALWAYS, THIS BOOK WAS DELIGHTFUL, EVEN WITH MURDER AND PENDING WAR BETWEEN THE FORCES FOR GOOD AND EVIL. NIW, IF ONLY THE NEXT BOOK WOULD COME QUICKLY.
