Reading this author’s books makes me walk around with a southern accent for days

I really enjoyed this book and this author .In her reads you always get a good family dynamics driven read with some mystery and a sprinkle of charm and a bit of magical energy sprinkled in.Not fantasy at all but just some special and I think in all of us we have and can benefit from some special.This story is about family ,the good and the very bad .Life has proud and not so proud times in it .To thrive it what helps us and to forgive and trust again helped all these characters.Good read ,really enjoyed it

The narration was fantastic and the story line felt like a huge southern hug

I loved the realness of the characters, the romance, the mystery, the character development, and the humor. This book is fabulous!!

Full of charm

I was needing a break from my normal reads, and this exceeded expectations. Enough mystery to keep me hooked and light on the sappy stuff and romance. Very lighthearted, a little bit of humor, and very likeable characters. Also well written and performed. I don't know why other people had poor things to say about the characters secrets. Some were slightly predictable but there were a couple that surprised me. And just because they are more mundane secrets and not wild or jawdropping doesn't make it boring. If anything it makes it more relatable. Everyone has some skeleton in their closet that they aren't comfortable sharing with others, even people they are close with, and its usually something that's a little traumatizing and has affected their life.

So good I’ll read it often

This is one of those books I’ll buy a hard copy of and read it over and over. I fell in love with the characters and setting. Hickory Lane seems like a wonderful place; the kind of place you wish was real. Heather Webber books are so sweet and heartfelt but the touches of magic really make them great. I can’t wait to read another, but I can say for sure that In the Middle of Hickory Lane will stay on my favorites list.

Engaging read/listen

I’ve gone through many of this author’s books and this one does not disappoint! Great story, rich characters and interesting with twists and turns that kept me listening non-stop. The voice actors do a beautiful job of bringing the characters alive.
