Command the Titan. Dominate the battlefield. Improve the women around him—that’s where the fun begins.

When Titan pilot David Snyder loses his squad, he takes the helm and finishes the mission. Trained. Focused. Deadly. He’s the kind of soldier the Coalition needs and the kind his new squad can’t ignore.

Forged by fire and brought together by war, David now leads a lethal team: a sharp-tongued ace with a chip on his shoulder, a by-the-book commodore’s daughter, and a rookie straight out of the academy with something to prove.

David’s not just here to survive. He’s here to win. And that means keeping his squad alive, outmaneuvering the alien war machines, and staying one step ahead of the heat, on and off the battlefield.

Ok so I'll just point out the fact its all fade to black so no spice. My wife was listening with me and pointed out how harem with no spice is pointless. But for war fantasy its ok.

Ok so for the story its fast paced with little down time. The action is Ok but he's a sniper so he doesnt do much but call out and support from afar. The Mc is kinda boring and promises to keep them safe but voluntarily puts them in danger constantly. For a series that has mecks you get no description of size shape or really anthing about them.

Ok so I made the review above before I finished the last two chapters. I dont think I'll be continuing the series. The last bit was kinda bad and was cringe. I know its war time and emotions are high so things go fast but me and my wife couldn't wait for the book to end.

This wasnt my cup of tea but I know some people enjoyed it, so give it a chance and see for yourself.

Sci-fi harem with a great plot. Fantastic supporting characters and a lot of action. Highly recommended.

Great book, I hope there are more to come.

it seems that while the writing is solid, there seems to be a lot of technology missing that any advanced civilization would have on a mech. Like night vision systems. using lights at night do more to help an enemy then yourself in a combat situation, and thats just the start.

seems lacking in several things

Avoiding specifics, there are some pretty strange plot holes and world building decisions that, for me at least, were fairly distracting. Also, for a book where mechs are so central, they're not fleshed out to any meaningful degree.

Character work is pretty average overall. Relationship development hops around quite a bit, though some of that is reasonable given the constantly shifting life or death context. My biggest complaint is that, in a book where world building is this shallow, and particularly in a harem book that's entirely fade to black, the character work really has to carry everything. And unfortunately, it falls pretty short.

Narration is above average, though there are some pretty glaring pronunciation issues. Every time I had to listen to Alfie butcher the pronunciation of "chitin" (and it happens constantly) I died a little inside. Also, there were some problems with character consistency. If you're going to give everyone different accents, you have to be able to keep that stuff straight.

Alright
