Would have given a 4...
But that out of the blue extra conflict towards the end was off pitting and too serious a topic for such a light book (of course SOMETHING was going to break them up again, but wtf was that). I think it assumed too much that the reader would just find that something to brush off.

Great Read
This Time Around by Tawna Fenske was a great Read. I loved reading Allie and Jack's story. They both dated for a long time about sixteen years ago. Allie left Jack because he wasn't maturing. Now they become reacquainted even though life hasn't turned out the way they thought. This was a great read. I absolutely loved their story and can't wait to read more by Tawna Fenske.

Mixed bag.
I almost didn’t complete because the story did grab me at first. Then it picked up, there was a little mystery, some romance and a dab of angst. The ending was alright so I gave everything a3 ⭐️
