Resumen del Editor

I always knew I was different; I just didn’t realize I belonged with the characters from horror movies.

It turns out my abnormally accurate intuition is a bit more than that. I’m a psychic. And a witch. And the people that raised me? Not my biological parents.

I would have loved a second to absorb this information, but the night I’m told the truth I get shipped off to a school for people like me...and shifters...and vampires (because they exist in real life, too).

Drexel Academy is a slow-burn reverse-harem series.

Great narration

Great narration. Plot a little slow but I like the FMC and characters in the book.

A new spin.

Different than other supernatural books I'm used to. I like the twist and turns. It's also refreshing to get in to a series that is like a single novel broken into parts.

Books 1 - 3 without spoilers

Updating this please be aware new changes!!
The author seems to have abandoned this series along with the prequel series that shares the same “universe”. Do not spend your time or MONEY with this if you’re not ok with having to listen to the terrible Virtual Voice that audible recently added. I feel we all deserve the right to get refunds if the author and publisher is going to pull this kind of crap

Wanting to give my honest review for those interested in starting this series. I found the story, world building, characters and performance all to be excellent. The major issue i have with the series so far is....Why did the author write this series?

After listening to the first 3 of 6 books in this series I am convinced the author wrote this whole series as a satire or attack on the "Discovered I am not human, sent to a magical academy where i magically bind to 3/4/5 gorgous men" Genre.

1) To mock/attack the "Found out i have magic, sent to magic school X" Much of the story is focused too heavly on how hard it is for the MC to enter an academy as a senior when she knows nothing about magic surronded by teenagers who grew up in magic....the MC is clinically depressed for the first two books struggling with her lack of knowledge and pressure of falling behind and unable to understand why her magic feels locked away, though no teacher or councilor ever sees this as a problem. Thing is if your wanting to read/listen a YA RH paranormal romance story....do you want to have to deal with such realism and depression?

2) To mock/attack the RH genre the author made the MC a 17yr old Virgin who as only kissed 2 or 3 boys her entire life and is constantly rejecting the concept of mate bonds or destined mates, always going back to her human tentencies. She constantly pushes away or rejects any possibilites with the "destined mates" over and over until the third book, but even then when she excepts the bond she emphasizes the realism of her experience and needing to go slow.

3) Since the author spends so much time trying to make a realistic what would happen situation, she fails to create any actual story for the reader to be invested in. After 3 books there is no main antagonist or physicallized opposition, just mentions of a mysterious group that might be apart of leadership that is bigotted against her and her men. Yes there is no stereotyical Mean Girl Enemy that constantly lives in a state of delusion over her chances with the men in the MC's life but without opposition nothing moves the story along. At one point in the 3rd book the MC is attacked but no one ever finds out who did it and she recovers with the help of her men pretty quickly.

4) The fact that the end of the first 3 books the time covered is from the first day of the school year up until midterms and the fact the MC has kissed all her mates once or twice and thats it makes it extreamly difficult to keep wanting to read the next installments. If you ever read/listened to the Curse of the Gods series by J Eve and J Washington the romance doesnt start till the fourth book but the story keeps the listener invested and is so enjoyable you barely care or notice.....this is an example of how a good story doesnt have to have insta-love.

So in the end...i dont know why the author wanted to write this series....

It kept me hooked the whole time. I can’t wait to read more. Cliff hanger

Slow and steady confusion

FMC was thrown into a new world, constant confusion is the name of the game. And this story is a slow world building part of it. Introducing characters and yet to see where the story is going.
