loved every book and every pair of lovers In the series can't wait for the next one. Can't wait for Annanies finish the poor women's been waiting for five thousand years

I Love this Series!!!

I have read every book in this series that is available on Audible. These books helped me through many commuting hours and walking hours. IT Lucas' books have been a great companion to get through the day. The only problem for me is that they haven't all been made available on audible.com yet. So I wait. I would put IT Lucas as one of my favorite authors.

Great the series Get them all

There a many glowing reviews on this series all of them justified. I have finished 3 of the books and absolutely love them. Wish I had purchased the box set. It about immortals living amongst us, how they came to be here and what is their purpose. My favorite is Amanda can’t wait to hear her complete story. The series is set in parts starting with Kian the leader or head of the immortals, his sister Amanda and a host of others. The series breaks each character down so we really get to know them how they came to be and what makes them tick. Love it.

Couldn’t stop listening.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

As this is the first of the series. I would like to hold judgement until the end. The story is setting up and Characters are being developed, but the plot and characters were not finish. It left me needing more if this is to be a stand alone book. IF it was the writers intention to leave the ending hanging in hopes to purchase additional books, it never happened for me... Other great writers have written more and finished the book and still left the reader wanting more. Not in this case.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

This book had a similar story line of JR WARDs Black Dagger Brotherhood. Or Lyndsey Sands, Argeneau series. I loath how the writers need to constantly explain the back story. Its like they think the reader can't remember, or the writer is needing words to fill up the space. Its okay with the next in line but just minimal is needed. Always dwelling characters...yuk

What does Charles Lawrence bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like the inflection of tone. The pace it sets and inference of plot.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Not yet. I need to hear the rest.

Make each book a stand alone. If a reader picked up others in the series then they can search out each characters book.

Accidental download

I accidentally clicked on a Facebook add which got me this book as a free download. I figured since it was free, why not. Oh boy! I was not expecting to get sucked into the story as fast as I did. I'm on book 36 now and I am yet to be disappointed. How are these book not on TV by now? I could binge watch these stories all day! I binge listen but I would love to see the story take life on the big screen!

Great audiobook!

What a great start to a series! I really enjoyed this first book in Lucas's PNR erotica series. If you're looking for an adult Twilight, look no further.

The author sent me an audiobook for review, and although the narrator is fantastic, I would've loved the female chapters to be read by a female narrator. It was still very enjoyable!

Great story telling

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The narrator did a great job capturing the tone of the characters. I would have given it a 5 star, but the sexual tension between the H & h got old and a bit drawn out. The rationale as to why the didn't want to act on their attraction to each other was lame and a bit immature 😒 However, I encourage and recommend purchasing the book, since it was pretty good overall.

I bought this book last year and now got around to reading it it was good I like the physical connection they have towards each other and the story line is very interesting.

At least provide a complete story

I understand book series but at least give the reader a complete story! This story never got off the ground. The way to keep a reader wanting more is to at least complete the 1st story and let them decide if they would like to move forward, this book did not do that.
