Great Story

I’ve been looking for a good paranormal shifter book. One that has depth and good character building. Finally found one. So hard to find a good story line. PSA- Hey Authors: All we want is romance, some hot and heavy, and a world as detailed as Harry Potter or LOTR. Gotta feel like we’re a fly on the wall.

Unexpectedly good!

Pleasantly surprised about how good this story was! The FMC was smart and strong without being whiny and impulsive. Diving right into the next book!

Actually Really Good!

I work with headphones on so audiobooks take up a lot of my time. I enjoy the poorly written but the usual werewolf shifter books. I enjoy a lot of stuff but WOW! Consider me impressed! I enjoyed the FMC more than the Male Lead! Pretty unusual for me, I usually enjoy the more straightforward men that these type of genre tend to produce, and this was completely backwards!

the main character is sensible, nice, and not to over the top. Making rash decisions is one of the most powerful things someone can do. For example instead of cowering and falling to the ground in a horror movie she would be the type to be halfway out the door and that is something I can appreciate.

I got embarrassed, had to pause, was giddy at the romance, and enjoyed the story. For what I wanted, this was a great read.

It’s good!

I really liked it. It took a while to reel me in just because the lead character was really hard to relate to in the beginning. She just seemed really childish regardless of the fact that the people around her constantly talked about her maturity. I can’t really explain it, but eventually she grew on me. On to book number two!

Love this book

It starts off slowly, but picks up quickly. By the end of the book your on the edge of your seat.

I was seriously impressed with the start of this series. I don’t often pick up PNR options, but this may have changed my mind. Can’t wait for the next installment !

this is the first book I have listened to by Poppy. I will definitely listen to the next one. So well written and the narrators did an amazing job. this is definitely a must read
