I liked the premise but my insomnia went away.

I tend to have insomnia during the week, so I listen to audiobooks at night when I am trying to sleep but can’t. This book, I listened to three nights in a row, but I actually fell asleep for once. More than once actually. The premise of the book was good and I liked the characters and the fact that there was some deep mystery about their past. Pretty much seemed like they had known each other well in Lucy’s previous lives. Cas is a demon and he has a connection to her. He apparently finds her in her current life, but his demon boss will only give him eleven days to be with her and Cas has to pay a price in pain for each of those days.

I liked how the story began but kept falling asleep halfway through and thinking I missed things so three days in a row, I started over. This time I got most of the way through the story, but again I missed things as I was falling asleep and I just don’t want to relisten again, so I think I will put this one down and maybe come back to it. Believe me, it wasn’t the story that put me to sleep, it was the fact that I was really tired. I still want to find out more about their relationship and see them end up together though.

The audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Zachary Johnson and they both did a fantastic job. I liked both of their voices and though this was mainly told from Lucy’s point of view, there were chapters told by Casziel as well. I did enjoy the fact that Cas told Lucy that he has done very bad things and wants to redeem himself. She has a good soul and though she too often listens to the demons in her ear that tell her she isn’t good enough, smart enough, or pretty enough, she is the best person for the job.

This is a unique and refreshing story!!

I absolutely fell in Love with both characters and the plot was absolutely perfect I’m all for a HEA and the Love they have is one we all strive to have if you haven’t listened to this so it especially if it’s still in the catalog and free I promise you won’t regret it!!

A story of true love

It was a PNR and a standalone smut is none exciting so if these aren't what you want then it won't be for you.

It took me about a min to truly love if only because it was a lil slow to begin at least in my opinion but I've loved this author in the past so I stayed and as the story developed the Heroine started to show a stronger side of self, at 1st she was a push over a kind beautiful human but one who didn't stand up for herself.

The Hero could be considered the Anti if only because he's the Sinner / Demon but in the end he was what some of us would dreamed be loved like. I don't want to spoil the story just say it's definitely one to take a chance to jump in and check out.

Very good listen

Unusual romance…it’s nice to find. Son much of the genre is very much the same. Authors are doubling down on trite and this is a nice little listen that isn’t quite the same as the others. Very enjoyable.

the BEST audiobook yet! EVER!

wow ✋🏼 that's all I can say .
Thrilled this wasn't just anthr audiobook that was in the fantasy/Romance genre. Bc recently it's like most DO have gr9 storyline but that's only 20% of the audiobook bc the other 80% is graphic details of the MFC with 1-5 MMC's and I don't need or want that atm! I'm top single Lmao. In all seriousness there was only what like 2 scenes and that's near the end.
this novel was SO WELL WRITTEN, I can tell the author has strolled with some sort of emotional pain & I only say this due to the level of accuracy that our MFC- Lucy's inner turmoil and that vacant spot in her ❤️...Ms Scott each scene was beautifully written. Being an empath who is also an HSP..I bawled my eyes out in sadness with heartbreak and also due to the heartACHE..Man I spent a while just crying..
which is good for us mere mortals...Flowers need rain in order to grow. if they don't get the rain they will wither and die instead of reaching their full potential. I personally view my 🌎 & the life I've lived that way. I carry so much pain in my ❤️ & tbh it's bc I have a HUGE heart myself. some call it a weakness & often I'd be the 1st to agree..but there are times where I couldn't imagine NOT crying over something so beautiful that it would otherwise have moved me to tears. There's real beauty in feeling that and I actually feel bad for those who don't, "feel," as intensely as I do.
Anyway this was a suprise4 me as I'd never listened to anything by ms. scott b4 (regrettably & i shall rectify that asap!)
TRULY 💯 an awesome book obvs written by an awesome author my Goddess! I mean EVERY single emotion was pulled out of me during this novel! Wow!! Iust wow!! & I'm so in awe bc i always have an audiobook on ...so theres no need 4me to, "hear," any of MY, "Inner Demons," #truestory 😁
Both the MFC & MMC narration was awesome too! All around perfect 🥰
