Loved this book. The narrators were awesome. It was not long and drawled out. The hole book kept your attention. Excellent.

Goff storyline

I like book one of this series and hope the next book is released soon. Narrators did a good job bringing characters to life. The tail trick is different than other books I’ve listened to.

Great narration and a Good story

I am really enjoying this series! the narration is really great and the story is fun. I wish it was longer but honestly the story was fairly well paced as it is.

The first of many credits used.....

I accidentally fell upon Tana Stone's books when I ran out of " new" this to listen to. This book kept popping up in my feed so I figured why not! I quickly found myself having to buy more Audible credits so that I could get the next book then the next..until I had purchased every book she had available on Audible.

At first it sort of seemed like every other paranormal/alien romance I've read lately. But as I continued reading I realized this was not at all the same, and the world set up kept me going. There are some components that are not new here..but the world building was a lot of fun for me to read. It's also great to read an alien romance book where the planet Earth isn't a crap hole, Each book build the world more, and each male main has a distinct personality that you just kind of swoon over. Not gonna lie there are a few things that made my eyes bug out and I had to re-listen to to make sure I heard correctly.

I have bought every audio book she has available and I will continue to do so. They bring me a lot of reading joy. It's doesn't hurt that it's male/female narrated ( LOVE THIS) and that the narrators are very good.

I loved the active dual narration! All the male characters are voiced by Marcio and the female characters are voice by Addison regardless of the POV of the chapter so it makes it very entertaining and engaging.

I had no issues with the story and felt that consent was there the whole time, every time, but I can understand why some might find it questionable. Therefore, I found this story a hot sexy alien romp and will absolutely be getting the next book!

Good book, but short.

I pass over so many books because they are under 6 hours. Even 6 hours is short. My favorite are 10 plus. It really gives you time to get into a story and get to know, love or hate characters. It’s frustrating to go through 2 books in a day when you have to pay for both when I can just pay for 1 long book. Just food for thought for the author. But I did enjoy the book and at some point will probably finish the series when I don’t have to pay for Christmas presents this month 😉

It's ok. Fell short from its potential.

I read so many PNR genres that I truly know what I like, love, or dislike in a story. This one wasn't exactly memorable; yet it was enjoyable while I was looking for a new series to binge. Having plot predictability is expected, to a degree, but if no creativity is used to push the boundaries, then it feels like an attempt to make quick money. I don't know if that's true here, it's just a general statement from many bad stories I've recently encountered.

To begin, the dual narrators were absolutely lovely! Unfortunately, the story did not pull me in to where I cared much about how their HEA would play out. I finished the story; but didn't bother with the epilogue after that ending. The last "scene' between the couple was just so over-the-top ridiculous that I laughed. The dialogue made it even more so! It really could have been romantic; but we get a cartoonish vibe of what love is probably like, even though neither character ever say that word!

I think one issue I had was there wasn't a meaningful struggle between the main characters. Yes, some struggle was present; but it wasn't enough to build a connection or sympathy.

This world's (universe's lol) backstory was fun & the alien species was interesting; yet the depth wasn't there. It felt so scant that only intimate scenes reminds you that the guy has a tail. I expected more characteristics to be mentioned by the FMC as she explored her new environment; but that never happened.

I could go on; but I have other books awaiting me in my library! In the end, I'd say this book is a decent choice for listening to while doing your daily chores or running errands. You don't need active listening for the story.
