After centuries spent in suspended animation, I'm hangry. Now, a team of sexy men have been sent to hunt me down...

Let them come.

Thanks to a protective spell gone wrong, I am what the world calls a siren.

Yep, you heard me right. I'm a siren. The lost princess of Atlantis. During the horrific battle between light and darkness, as Atlantis sank beneath the waves, I was caught in some crazy magic that changed my body and put me down for a really long nap. The humans, still greedy as ever, woke me up when they stumbled on an energy source near the heart of my home.

I battled alongside my Atlantean brothers and sisters as evil spread like a plague from city to city. We fought bravely, but in the end, I lost everything. I have nothing left to lose.

That same darkness has continued to take over the world while I slept. My mission is to cleanse the world of evil, so I need to get busy.

It is easy to find the men with blackened hearts and drag them to their watery graves beneath the sea, but it isn't long before the disappearances are noticed, and I go from hunter to hunted. Cleansing the world of evil takes a lot out of a siren. So, when the three good-hearted men cross my path, I'm ready to make them. I just need to figure out how things work with my new anatomy.

This paranormal fantasy romance features a slightly darker siren who collects her mates throughout the series. This is not the usual bubbly mermaid tale! It is full of spice, humor, and a slightly feral siren...

Oh! Let's not forget the totally ripped guys you will want to sink your fangs into! It will have a HEA...eventually.

Siren’s Hunt (Siren Series Book 1) by Sedona Ashe ~~ This book pulled me in immediately, and I didn’t stand a chance after that. Siren’s Hunt is dark, seductive, and emotionally charged in the best way. From the very beginning, you can feel that this story is going to be dangerous — not just physically, but emotionally too. The siren mythology is done beautifully, with a darker, more powerful edge that makes it feel fresh instead of recycled.

The main female character is strong, complicated, and constantly underestimated — which, honestly, just made me root for her harder. The male characters? Intense, possessive, morally gray, and absolutely not playing by the rules. The tension between them builds slowly but steadily, and when things finally ignite… wow. Nothing feels rushed, and the emotional stakes keep climbing.

I read part of this on Kindle, but when I wasn’t reading, I was listening on Audible — which I do often because reading and listening helps keep my head sane when I’m not teaching. The narration fits the mood perfectly and adds another layer of intensity to the story. You can feel the danger, the desire, and the power shifts through the voices alone.

By the end of this book, I was fully invested and already reaching for the next one. The cliff-hanger isn’t cruel — but it’s definitely effective.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself — you won’t regret it.

This is a truly unique and fabulous story that I am highly enjoying so far. I can not wait to start book 2! I wish that I enjoyed the narrators as much as I do the story but I don't. The female narrator is fine, although she can be a bit flat. Maybe that is her way of providing listeners with the MFC's mindset who is supposed to be without feelings. I guess we will find out as the character's feelings return to her, hopefully the narrator will come alive herself. The male narrator has a whispery quality to his voice that I absolutely hate. I just want to yell at him to talk normally! Lol, as if that would do any good. But it is just that irritating. Plus, he doesn't change his voice when he does different characters so all her mates sound the same. You never know who is talking until you hear "so and so said" which is very irritating. This Audible could have, should have, been done so much better. The story deserves better. It is unique, interesting, funny, and emotional. It's absolutely fabulous. So fantastic that if I can find it, I plan to read this series, as well. Despite the problems with the narrators, the story is fabulous, you will love it!

Fabulous Story

This was a really great storyline. I was expecting it to be bad but this author has surprised me.
The main female character was phenomenal in her strength and pride. The males were well done also. Know how to treat a woman ish.
Then you have the smexy bits. Creative.

Narration review
A female reader was great and she brought the characters alive. You could feel all the words.
The male reader was eh. Not good for this book type.

Great story line

I like this author but this story was very slow and not very gripping. Good for sleepy time listening. This has been the only book of hers that I didn’t chuckle the whole way through.
