Such a great story!

I loved that this was unlike other Nicholas Sparks books I’ve read. I loved the different perspectives and the back and forth. So many touching details and just a beautiful story. I wasn’t sure what to expect in the end but it was perfect.

Relations

My husband and I listened to it on Audible as we traveled and finished it with tears. We adopted a child through our church's family services . This too involved a sixteen year old mother. Our daughter later was able to get to know her birth mother . Her birth mother died , but they were able to build a good relationship.

Incredible

Though every Nicholas Spark book has had an emotional effect, none so much as this one. I did not guess the ending and admit that I cried. Some of the emotion was because I identified with the story since I had adopted my son when he was an infant. But most of the emotion came from Nicholas Spark’s wonderful gift of weaving a story. I will relished to “The Wish” at some point, and as I am sure I will still cry, I will know the ending the second time. Thank you, Nicholas, for a unforgettable experience.
