Warhammer Horror Week: Day Four

A ship becalmed in space needs repairs. Fortunately, a nearby watch station offers refuge.... Surely nothing can go wrong for the crew of the Fortune's Favour?

Listen to it because:

Atmospheric, tense, terrifying...it's an audio experience tailor made to chill you, and this chapter sets up the horrors to come and will leave you on the edge of your seat wanting more.

The story:

When the Fortune's Favour drops from the warp with no warning, its captain, Karina Arq, wants to know why. Devoid of answers, and unable to return to the immaterium, she and her crew seek a port at which to make repairs - so the aptly named watch station Refuge seems sent by the Emperor Himself...but things are never so simple....

Part one of three.

Written by Rachel Harrison. Running time 21 minutes and 32 seconds. Performed by Grace Andrews, Steve Conlin, Matthew Hunt, Jonathan Keeble, Carla Mendonca, Colleen Prendergast, David Seddon and David Sibley.

Wow, where have I been?

I cannot believe I missed this as it was coming out. Such a great story and the voice acting is top notch. I am looking forward to hearing the rest of the story only to go back and listen to it again as I paint my 40K Army.

Amazing Story - Stupid Format

Great story, brilliant writing and stellar performance. It's a shame that GW decided to split the drama into 3 parts - presumably done to milk sales. If this becomes a trend I'll stop purchasing black library material.

Creepy

Very good narration and voice-acting, but what really kills it, and leaves me craving more, are the sound effects and music. The atmosphere is excellent!

loved it.

Well worth listening but should have been a novel. Loved it. Would definitely recommend but hate that it's in 3 parts.
