Story
Ivan is an easygoing gorilla. Living at the Exit 8 Big Top Mall and Video Arcade, he has grown accustomed to humans watching him through the glass walls of his domain. He rarely misses his life in the jungle. In fact, he hardly ever thinks about it at all. Instead, Ivan thinks about TV shows he's seen and about his friends Stella, an elderly elephant, and Bob, a stray dog. But mostly Ivan thinks about art and how to capture the taste of a mango or the sound of leaves with color and a well-placed line.

"Peoples so unfinished.."
What about Laurel Lefkow’s performance did you like?
Laurel Lefkow's performance was very funny with the right accents and spirit.
Any additional comments?
My 8 year old daughter and I listened to "The unfinished Angel" almost in one sitting (bedtime beckons.) And we thoroughly enjoyed the humor of the book and its performance.
What if an Angel does not know who she is, what she is supposed to do and what she is supposed to look like? Although she is rather old(as she reminded us indignantly in her broken English-Italian accented narration) her child like discovery and questions and observation of the people around her. And Zola being the colourful child that she is, could see and talk to the Angel and often asks her poignant questions that children often do?
We could listen to the story again and again and asks ourselves different questions each time.
Very entertaining, can be poignant but very light hearted.
